How many episodes were there last week, 3, 5, or what? I missed them all. I read all the new threads and posts, but I know I'm missing a bunch of stuff. Can anyone tell me what interesting (major) things happened last week? For one thing, what did Hee-soo and her sis-in-law say to each other? Apparently it was funny and/or disturbing. Thanks!

It depends where you are watching from. In Chicago, there were three. In Philly, there are usually five a week, but last week they only showed four and one re-run. Hee-soo told her that she would try to keep her brother from considering re-marriage to the wench woman when wenchy said she planned to take her son and Eun-Soo BOTH with her and move. She also approached Jin-kook about a possible (vague) business deal which upset Hee-Soo. And she told him not to tell anyone.

Thanks, PhillyDen. I'm in Chicago. Last night we had the episode where Jin-kook meets the sister-in-law and they talk about business. On another thread, people were talking about when Hee-soo said, "I guess you know about my marriage," and how how sis-in-law said something to Hee-soo that made her mad, something about "level of consciousness." I wondered what that was.
Looks like they found Grandma at the nursing home and Min-sup had a talk with her but left her there, and that Jee-hae (sp?) hasn't had her surgery yet, and that Eun-soo's ex is living at Min-sup's house as well. What I don't know is how all these things came about and if I'm missing anything else important.

Nothing to major last week. The fight between Hesoo and SIL started because HS asked Wenchy (I like that nickname) what she had come back for, then as PhillyDen said, that it was not just to get Jiwong, but also to get the Pappa back too. Then Hesoo said that she was going to do everything possible to dissuade her brother from doing that. Wenchy accused her of being just like her mother. They exchanged some other words (I can't remember), Hesoo walks into the living room because she is really steamed, and then she gets back up and says "So I guess you've heard about my marriage." Then Wenchy tells her that it's either one of two things, either it's horrible and she wants to get pity from people, or it is wonderful and she wants her to envy her. Either way she doesn't care and doesn't understand why she brought it up. Then HS says something about Wenchy probably laughing behind her back, Wenchy replies that she would think that, given her level of consciousness. This left me with a look on my face, and we were trying to understand what the heck that meant. I mean we know what it meant, but come on that's so Psychology 101. Other things, JH is hiding out from her FIL because he was going to take her to the hospital. He insists that she must get the surgery, isn't happy that she's run away. Eunsoo and Junghee had been planning to get married anyway, but now who knows with yesterday's episode ending like it did. It leaves me wondering as I type this: (a) what the heck happened w/Jihae's stalker and (b) what ever happened to the land selling issue? These holes are just to big... Wow, Jee-hae is hiding out from Fishfaced Papa? (OK, that's mean, but even though I sort of like him now, I think he deserves to be made fun of for all his high-handed "give me food!," "have an operation!," head-of-the-family stuff.) Hee-soo sounds like an idiot in the scene you described. Thanks for the tidbits, GC.

Hee-soo's mom mentioned thel and issue in passing tonight, so that one still seems to be alive.

Eun-Soo's Ex is going to be a big problem. I, too, missed a few episodes (it's only on Mon-Wed), but the Ex is not nice. She's very ambitious, but will stop at nothing to further herself. She detests Jung-Hee who is very simple but not very stable. However, the Ex's young son, who also loves Jung-Hee, should be the focus of these immature adults.
The child has the love of his grand-parents, his father, his family, and Jung-Hee. He loves his mother who is there for him when it's convenient for her, but she doesn't really want the responsibility for caring for him. She's too self-absorbed to consider his needs.
