Is everyone finally in agreement that the cat's out of the bag? I don't see what else they could think after seeing G-ma singing to her pillow that her baby's parents were gone and that he was her very own now. Phew, finally! I hope that they don't catfoot around the issue very long though; I'd like the real info to come out so that they can move on to something else.

I think that automatic substitution is gross. It's sooo odd. "Girl thingy" = borderline offensive. Not in a PC sense, but in the sense of "offending my sensibilities."

I don't even know what word it is substituting. :

Think of a kittycat, GC, and what other term you could call her by.

Oops, sorry everyone.
I didn't even notice it'd substituted this time! Usually when I use words that it might think are bad I modify the post.
New and improved version: I hope that they don't keep sidestepping the issue.
(The sentiment still holds though; get on with it already, Song family!)

I keep on thinking that I've got the automatic censor "thingy" tamed (it comes loaded with a list of words, courtesy of the board hosting service), and then I find it needs more tweaking. <Sigh>
Ok, <that> word will (and some variants) still be censored, but replaced with "cat" (just in case someone wants to use it in its impolite sense).

Aw, Soju, I'm sorry I made more work for you with my silly complaint. But your idea is great. I'm going to test it out now:
cat

edit: Fun! It worked! :-)
