Does anyone else think that the way the Kohs treat their boarder/renter is rude?
She always helps out in the kitchen and with the chores. Earlier I figured that's what kept the rent down.
But during the dinner party, she prepared all the food and then wasn't invited to eat with the family. I thought that was very rude. And a couple of times they showed her sneaking back and forth through the living room while they were in there.
Now I can understand why she always wants to eat breakfast/other meals out. She doesn't want to have to cook for everyone else. Soon, soon they will have her buying groceries and paying their utilities too!

I thought that was very rude. I think so too. That's why I was outraged when they had her watch Jiwong and help out w/the laundry before. The icing on the cake was definitely all the hard work she put in for Jihae's feast and the fact that they didn't even invite her to sit with them. It's partly her fault too. It's one thing to be nice, quite another to be a doormat. But I guess it's just to make her character's transition from boarder to DIL that much easier.

Yes, but at least as DIL she'll be invited to the family gatherings after she slaves over the feast. But she will no longer to work as an escort in secret!! Instead, she will join the rest of that family in loafing and mysteriously living off of ... nothing (a.k.a. hee-soo).

No she's not their DIL yet. I was just saying that they are making her a hardworking, respectful and submissive boarder so the transition for DIL will be smoother. At least until the mom finally finds out what she does for a living. I'm not sure how she will react.
Hachiue, that's a really good point you brought up about how they are making ends meet. Obviously, Eunsoo is unemployed, the mom left her house cleaning gig, the dad only works part-time and I doubt he makes that much. So I guess they really are living off He-soo. I had never pondered too much on that point.
If I were Jinkook, I'd ask to be treated a little bit nicer.

yea i mean they are living off of jin-kook. he brought them a car, saved there house, gives hee-soo total acces to his funds (eun-soo also) its ironic but hee-soo's mom kinda treat him just as bad as his step mom.

I'm not sure how much she knows about where they're getting their money (HS's mom). I know that Hee-soo always gives money to Eun-soo, but (according to the show) she hasn't seen her parents much. They bought the car ... I don't even know how much their expenses would be. They have no mortgage, maybe no property taxes, and bills seem to be lower there (for utilities, etc). They don't have cells (except for Eun-soo), Ji-woong isn't in school. Maybe the rent money takes care of most of it. Of course they won't get that later if our suspicions come to pass. I need to take some lessons from them. I'd like to live for free too.
