It is really compelling to see Jinsoo’s mom get her free glances of  Jinsoo after she left him behind unintentionally but come on where are all the nosey neighbors at ;Dor let me rephrase that with concerned neighbors ? I just though it was so comical how Jinsoo’s mom comes passing by with her brightly colored scarves and how no one notices her I mean “cough cough” I know she must know that Jinsoo would recognize her in heartbeat scarf or no scarf. Well, it is good to see that Jinsoo’s mom does have an ounce of compassion left in her heart and that she is not always plotting and scheming 24/7. I wonder what type of scarf she going to were tomorrow she might be starting a trend…lol I do not know why I notice the weirdest things…..  |

I'm more distracted by her hair more than anything else. What is up with it? She went to what is supposed to be one of the most glam cities in the world, Paris, and she comes back with hairdo that makes her look as if she's been chugging Hello Kitty Soju all day.
Her style has definitely gone a step down.

In reference to the scheming/compassion comment:
I thought it was interesting that, when she went back to her hideout, she was so upset. She still didn't even mention making things easier on the family - it took evil care bear to say that to Mr. Park.
But then again, maybe she didn't know about his meddling.
Anyway, it made me like the evil guy more. I'm still confused about his hair though.

About her hair: I think what's going on is that she's no longer a pampered trophy wife. She isn't wearing as much makeup, either. She used to have a regular appt at the salon (to which she can't go back now, anyway) and probably did a lot of other upkeep to look like the rich president of a company. She's brought her evil plan to fruition--though there is surely more to come--and no longer needs to look like that. After all, she put on that persona for years, but the person she really is is the vengeful woman who was born out of whatever happened to her family. I am enjoying her more now that she's so sad about Jin-soo. And I must say, Jin-soo is being very adorable and heartrending these days. That scene yesterday when he was so upset that Dad couldn't talk to him! Sniff. Poor little love, he can't understand. P.S. Bwa-hahahaha! :-) |

I thought that was funny, too! I mean, she wears the sunglasses to hide her face, then holds a loud scarf over her mouth. Oh, no one will suspect a thing.  Puh-leeze! As for the neighbors, the house on the other side of the street (the back yard faces their driveway) looks like the Waco compound of the Branch Davidians, so I don't think they concern themselves with the neighborhood too much. I think she looks younger without all the makeup, very different. As for her hair, I think it must be very humid there because Evil Care Bear's hair is always soaking wet.  It never dries!!! That's why Mr. Park doesn't leave the house without his Gilligan hat - he's got the frizzies. |

I wish we'd learn something about Jin-kook's mom soon, the suspense is killing me! I'm also wondering if this is all they are going to do to Jin-kook? I mean, it took her over 16 years to establish trust with the dad, and try to ruin the company? Since we all suspect she poisoned JK's mom, I'd say that was enough revenge! I keep waiting for something major to happen but it seems like ECB has simmered down.  |

I'm glad that she's simmered down - her scheming, while fun, wasn't particularly imaginative. And she doesn't seem to hate anyone at all in that household (except Jin-kook and that's only because he's super smart and saw through her facade) - she thinks hee-soo is sweet, she likes her husband (no divorce yet, eh?) and she loves jin-soo.
I think that the entire evil gang (ESM, ECB and Park) need to take a trip to a stylist and a salon, sheesh! I know that she's no longer the rich, pampered trophy wife, but you'd think a trip to Paris would give her some fashionista super sense.

well she has to becareful she has no more money coming in. she took it all so she has to becareful cannot afford to get her hair done anymore. Do you think so? I had assumed she had stolen multiple millions of dollars and could pretty much do whatever - it doesn't look like they're spending a lot so the interest on the money (would she get interest? it's in offshore banks, right?) would cover their daily living, including trips to the salon. |

That'd have to be one schmancy trip. I don't care how expensive foreign countries are, if she had stolen the entire net worth (basically) of a business - and its owners who are obviously doing fairly well for themselves - I doubt she could run out of money for a decade or so.
Anyway, I think that she's misguided about her husband - she thinks that all he cares about is money (where did she get this?) apparently because his wife ruined her family and doesn't realize what was going on with him (aphasia, etc.) was because of her leaving not the money.
And it was sweet when his first words were her name, after which he thought that he would give her everything if she would return - though that's not unexpected since he was equally sweet and loving to her during their marriage.

oh man. i hope that he doesn't want her back. that would be so twisted after everything that has happened. did he say that he would give her everything if she would return? i thought he just meant that if only she had asked, he would have given it all. golfer guy would be crazy to forgive her. i don't see how he could do that after all her deceiving. i felt bad for jin-kook when hee-soo told him that his father's first word was that ESM's name. it was so sad. i thought he looked so hurt. i hope somewhere along the drama that they patch up the relationship between golfer guy and jin-kook.

He did say that he would have if she had asked. I took it to mean that he would take her back. He doesn't seem too angry at her, just angry at himself and very sad.
I wonder what's going to happen between Jin-kook and ESM?!! I can't think of what he would say to her at the coffee shop. I mean, he could call the police, but other than that, I don't see any way that he could convince her to give them the money back or whatever. Unless he's going to try to convince her to see his father and Jin-soo.
I'm thinking that this is going to end up with her realizing that she hated the mother and really had no reason to, but that she actually likes (if not loves) the family and wants to live with them. Then they'll all move in together and sing and dance all day. Heh.
