I felt so bad for Jinsoo in last nights episode. His family members make him out to be this anti-social person when in reality he enjoys other people's company.
He took a liking to Minsup or Mr. Mouse and was so happy to be eating with the men. I believe someone had already mentioned the fact that it was cruel that nobody put him in a special school so he could develop his mind instead of being locked up in his room all day.
I think this might be one of those social messages Lucy was talking about.

I think it was mainly ESM though. The other family members had tried to get him out of the house or in school but she always nixed it.
She even initially nixed the origami idea. Wench!

As birb said, yes it was hee-soo. And, yes, ESM said that she wanted the family to look bad. But it's fairly obvious from what ESM has said that she wanted to hide him away because he was disabled. Kinda like her brother. I'm worried that Jin-soo will be stolen from the house one day when they're out and maybe have people to watch him. I know that's what she wants to do, but how!

I just wanted to mention that one thing ESM said about Jin-soo that is apparently true is that he never wants to leave the house. The only thing I saw that contradicted that was early in the series when JS ran into the yard and tackled his dad as he came home. "I like Dad! Dad is nice!" He nearly knocked him down. But other than that one time, Jin-soo has had one or two opportunities to leave the house and always refused. I'm going to go back on what I said much earlier about the actor playing Jin-soo and compliment him now. Maybe it's the increased number of lines and screen time lately, but he's managing to get a bit of his character across without much dialogue. There's a lot of pathos lately in his scenes. I think he's doing an admirable job, but I continue to wonder also if he is actually disabled in real life. I can't make up my mind.

I'm glad you changed your mind because I have always thought that he really does do a good job. I think the actor is not really disabled, he's just a good actor. It's just the haircut, clothes and his body language. Now that I think about it, I had a haircut very similar to his...how cruel some parents can be.
