The writers on this show make an effort to put in some socially relevant points. For example, Jae-min's mother brings home the little girl who has a terrible home life, and the father says things to the effect that we have to share our good fortune and take care of others. Showing a little boy living rough on the streets is another example. I know there have been other times when the characters have commented on social responsibility and on the economy, but I can't think of them right now. Can you?

Oh, I meant in this show. "My Precious Child" seems to be distinguished by this social conscience. Though I didn't see "So This Is Love."

yea he does seem to talk more once the little girl came into the picture.. his dialog is very minimal when he is with his wife... feed me! where's dinner? so his comment dealing with society kinda shocked me...

this show is so different from the three others one whose my love and yellow hankerchidf and one millionrn roses. i really hate the step mom and love her at the same time. this show reminds me of american soaps.
