It looks like Jae-min has some competition now. I wonder if they are really going to keep the little girl (and how weird is it that the dad isn't protesting that strangers took his daughter). Maybe a sweet little girl will soften Jae-min's dad. Ahh, I can imagine the frilly dresses the mom would dress her up in--she'll look like a cotton ball.

She has already! He was so nice to the mom last night. He actually got in a complimentary sentence before demanding his meal as usual.

Been meaning to post about her. What a sweetie! And so pret-ty. Maybe Mimi's dad is just relieved not to have to worry about her.
I found it hilarious that Jae-min's dad was so overcome by emotion, he made a big speech to mom that she'd done the right thing, and what a good person she was, and then, right on schedule, "Get me breakfast."
I mean, really. Every time he speaks to her, he ends the speech with "FOOD me." Is this not hilarious?

Anyone think the dad is just happy that she's gotten her mind off the run-a-way son for a change? He'll take anything that comes along to do just that?
Her obession with the son borders on incestual and not very healthy.

It's nice to see Jae-min's dad being so smiley and nice at the dinner table, but does anyone else fear that the mom is substituting her obsession with her son with a growing preoccupation with Mimi? I think it's wonderful that she's so loving and caring with the little mite, but I hope she doesn't grow to depend on the child.
If anyone else here watches "Phoenix," doesn't Mimi look kind of like a tiny Bok-ja? LOL

If anyone else here watches "Phoenix," doesn't Mimi look kind of like a tiny Bok-ja? LOL That's what I was thinking! Maybe its the bangs or the fact that she doesn't look fully Korean. I think that she should have had more kids, she seems to have so much love to give and not enough people to share it with. If she does keep Mimi, she'll surely raise her on a pedestal just like she did Jaemin.

It's either the late 30s or early 40s episodes. I think.
