Well I thought it was an interesting enough first episode. I was shocked to see the usually oh-so-sweet Grandma from YH to be so bi-polar in this drama. First she's complaining to the air about how bad her DIL is, then she completely changes her tune when she's actually there. The DIL looks nice though...she always says thank you.
The two main girls whose names I cannot remember are cute and perky and so far good dressers. I'm glad that we get treated to a wedding so early on in the show. The young groom (whom I shall call Goofy Gus until I memorize his name) seems to be everybody's pull toy. "I'm buying dishes." "No, I'm buying dishes!"
I'm also interested in seeing what will develop between that whole stepmother/stepson thing. Does she like him? That's the impression I got.

And I thought the girls would be much more irritating than they were. (The girl getting married, I don't remember her name, is Ji-eun's little sis from the Phoenix. So it will take me a while to like this character because I dislike the Phoenix girl.) And Goofy Gus's mom is the actress who played Moon-hee's step-mom in To Be With You! I wouldn't have recognized her behind all of that expensive makeup if I hadn't read that on the Hawaii board. I really like all of the characters so far.

I thought that the girl getting married looked familiar, but I didn't know the actress's name and didn't connect it with that witch on the Phoenix. She was much nicer on this one though.
I like the show so far and think the family dynamic will be pretty interesting - and what was up with all of the bipolar people? The step mom, the husband's mom and the two grandmas were all crazy, not to mention the husband of the lawyer that looks like he's being a pretty-boy going around and spending all of her money.
Anyone want to bet whether the step-son will end up with the swimmer?

I think this drama is alright so far. There are a lot of characters introduced to us so quickly and I can't seem to keep track of all of them! As for Ji-hae's father, I was watching his face carefully and I realized that he is the same guy who played as the Archfiend/Yi Ui-min in Age of Warriors.

He has that Age of Warriors type voice--very gruff and throaty.
I thought that last scene where he doesn't want to let go of his precious daughter's hand was funny and touching, more funny toward the end because then he trips.

I don't know, I like Hee-soo. I think she's my favorite character. I also think that playboy's wife has some potential for being interesting.
And I thought the show was pretty boring after the first episode too, but they show that just for background. I think that it's gotten better since then.

I am from SoCal so we are ahead of you! Dont worry I am not posting spoilers. I too wasnt impressed with this drama during the first few episodes but now I am hooked! This drama gets better and better. I think the best part is that it is not predictable and I enjoy trying to find out what makes the different characters tick! Hang in there! You may actually surprise yourself by liking this drama more than OMR.

My first eps was eps 4 (missed the first 3 ) and I was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO disappointed, how I longed for OMR!!! but NOW!!! I am so hooked, I learned how to program my VCR and everything (without even getting help from my hubby, that's commitment to a show!!!) I totally love this show, the characters, I don't even notice the cheesy sets anymore
