Ya agree wif Jasmine, the recent hits namely Goong and Kim Sam Soon cannot hold a candle to the classic Dae Jung Geum. Looking forward to another brilliant one fr Korea..

umm Goong is not very new now... There's gonna be a gonng 2 though! Kim Sam Soon was funny and good, but certainly not the best... it's not one of those dramas that you could watch over and over... Jumong is pretty good nowadays in korea. I dont think it will be a hit in other countries though, because it has a lot to do with conflicts in china...

agree djanggum.. i also think that a drama is excellent if one can watch it even for a million of times and can't still help crying, laughing and hating with the cast of the drama... that's what DJG does to people..
and by the way, i just got a complete set here in the city for only 400 pesos... hmm...

yeah noted that though goong n kim sam soon are not really new, but both are the more notable recent K-drama series in my country. Btw djg is hving a rerun in a local tv channel here:)..every sat n sun for 2hrs, nothing like the marathon thingy tt the californian are enjoying tho. As for Jumong, is it any good?

*sigh*
I don't like how Channel U did that advertisement.... Find it very very disturbing and insulting, what they did to LYA... So uncouth for... Anyway that was a great disappointment...
As much as I like Kim Samsoon, it will never take a higher place than DJG!!!
haha now Goong is broadcasting in Singapore and people are all crazy about it... LOL ;D

i agree with u, spfan... and i think Goong is gg to become super popular here in S'pore.... and i believe it is one of the top shows shown on channel u.... cos before the show actually aired, if u notice, channel u seems to be promoting the show aggressively.... The Straits Times had mentioned abt the show recently, too.. Many of my frens find the drama very similar to Meteor Garden.... wat do u think?

Dear Guest from another guest. Be Strong, Geum-soon is very good. It is another family oriented and sentimental storyline. Lady Han is there as the biological mother to Geum-soon who had to leave Geum-soon when she was just a baby. It tool a while before I got hooked into the storyline but I thoroghly enjoyed it alot. -FC

Hi happygolucky umm let's see... i don't think a drama is good just because it hits 20%... maybe 50% like DJG or My Girl ^^* anyways... right now, there are not many korean dramas worth watching. they have been changing, and ever since 2004 (which was the year of the best dramas like DJG, Full House, Lovers in Paris.. etc) and 2005 (My Girl, My Lovely Samsoon, The Palace), dramas have been getting less and less interesting. i guess the only drama i would recommend is Jumong. It is really good in the beginning. but as it goes on, it is getting boring........ has anyone noticed how a lot of dramas have "playboys" in them? like in jumong, oh wait. never mind for those who did not watch yet ^^*

Haha, is Jumong getting more interesting now? Because I can't watch it, but I've been following the ratings quite closely. It's going to hit the 50% mark soon.
