Well, well keeping secrets are we? ;D You have done a marvellous job there so, can I assume you have taken up the challenge then? We can get graceann to organise an independent panel of judges for this competition - how about it? Hehe! this so funny ;D PS. I await your answer by noon tomorrow ukfan

the winner in this competition will be the top madam while the loser will go to the sauce department. is that clear? or do you want to add something?

well now, being choi-go-sang-goong doesn't sound too bad, doesn't it? but who will choose the scenes? somebody independent from us should do it. and then maybe you can make the strip and i can just copy the blank strip. and who are the judges? the King, Queen and Queen Mother? That would be like having Paula Abdul [the Queen], Randy Jackson [the King] and Simon Cowell [the Queen Mother]! Is this American Idol?!?!?

Hi maedayeve Both graceann and you have raised some practical issues. Realistically, I have to select the scences and prepare the "blank" strips (the best of 3?) since I have access to the DVD set and the necessary software. Consequently, I can't take part, although my original suggestion was that I should take part and anyone else including youself of course. I don't mind not taking part and in fact I can be one of the judges ;D (No! we do not want Simon Cowell involved at all - I can't stand the guy even though he is afellow Brit! ) Anyway, I think this is a fairer and more practical solution - what do you think? ukfan

Hi Minty! ;D Glad you liked my latest creation...yes, I do work with graphics - not full time though as my work covers a very wide area What would you like story wise in the next edition of the DJG comic strip? ukfan PS. Do you know why I have changed your "nick" from Mint to Minty? Answer, I was drinking a cup of freshly brewed mint tea at the time and I said, "Ah ha!, you don't want to be known as just Mint! you want to be know as Minty! - it sounds more majestic and posh and memorable". To be honest with you I don't know what else they put into mint tea nowadays! haha! ;D hello ukfan, wow, it's really a pleasant surprise for me to come to this forum today and be greeted by so many wonderful creations, both yours and maedayeve. i see, so your work involves graphics, no wonder, yes, your creative juices flows in your ideas, comics and writings. hmm, so you like to drink minty tea too? i love it. i love to eat mint ice-cream, sweets, tea, ..... now thinking of getting perfume with mint!!! (but, i hope i will not scare away anyone). i like mint cos' it's refreshing. (i am a walking mint ;D ) and thanks for giving me a nice nick, and commented that it's majestic. ;D thanks, makes my day! you ask: "What would you like story wise in the next edition of the DJG comic strip?" for now, no preference, cos' i really enjoy the fabulous surprise that you have given us. do keep up the good work.

[ i might be setting myself up for disappointment here... ] maybe we can limit the judges those with active accounts and not to guests. they have to be logged in in order to vote. but first, to find a fellow competitor... where's sir min jung-ho? i need him to issue the decree! ;D

Hi maedayeve Yes, I do see a slight problem which I am sure could be overcome if we put our heads together ;D .... iI am sure we can bend the rules a little! What if I prepare 3 blank comic strips and each of the competitor select one of the 3 and naturally the funniest shall be the victor. Just like a singing contest Simon Cowell would be judging, all singers sing a different song and the best wins....unless you want eachof the competitor to have the same comic strip or strips, perhaps the best of 3??? This means I can take part, although I will be preparing the 3 blanks. I agree on the point about only members of this board could vote - thinking about it, technically only members can vote anyway. Judges? We need say a panel of 3 who are completely unbiased...like the moderators perhaps? As for the voting system: participating members will have one vote each, and each judge will have 5 votes each?? Comments? BTW. I agree will graceann, you do have lovely hands...no aging problems there! ;D ;D ukfan
