LOng story short- set my vcr whilst I was on vacation (Florida, very warm, by the way) but since I add a few minutes at each end...........I ran out of tape 1/3 of the way through Saturday's episode & I don't want to wait until Tuesday to find out what happened. Jang Geum figured something out with the Queen mothers food. The professor told her to make "it" but don't tell anyone then zap!!!! end of tape!!! I saw previews so I know someone gets upset at what she's making, but what it is? AND is the Dr lady that was wrong mad at JG & is she trying to get rid of her? I saw her overhear the Choi faction.

I'm sorry, GC, I won't see it until tomorrow morning, myself, and I haven't even watched this morning's yet. In fact, I probably won't watch the tape until late in the week. So...is there anyone else who saw this?

Hello! JG figured out a way to get the queen mother to eat garlic, which is the only way she can get better, since she can't take medicine. However, they don't want her to know its garlic, because then she won't eat it. The Queen Mother likes it and praises JG. The other physician lady gets jealous and finds out what is really in the 'pills' they are serving her. She sees garlic and tells the queen and the queen mother. Everyone gets mad at JG and the doctor, and they are about to lose their positions.
But, then the queen mother recovers and says they saved her life. The queen meets with JG, thanks her, and remembers she was a kitchen lady. She promises to remove the treason charge sometime in the future.
Meanwhile, Lady Min tries to teach Yeun-seng how to be more pleasing, or something like that. Later, the Emperor visits her again.
I think that is what happened. Sorry if I missed something! Also, did anyone tape Monday's rerun, and if so were there any added scenes? Thanks!

EK- There was an extension of the scenes hdealing with the queen and teh question of twins. There was a great debate about going with JG's diagnosis or not. Then of course there was the anticipation of teh fact that nothing to effect right away. So i think it was supposed to take about 2 days for the queen to deliver the twin. Then because of this everyone was given time to go home so that was how she ended up at the house. ;D I think there was another one added too but I can't remember.
Anyone else find the scene where MR & Mrs were trying to answer the riddle a hoot. I loved it when they each sat up and guessed and then laid down & then he tried to get up agan & she had him in choke hold. They are so funny together!

Not only that, gc, but, "If Jang-geum gave a question that we know the answer to, there'd be a great trouble!" Hahaha. Bo
