At the end of Fridays show the announcement appeared on screen- the show would be rerun on Monday morning at 9 a.m.
So, if you're taping the Saturday/Sunday morning showings (which have more scenes than the evening shows) it looks like you have to reprogram your VCR's.

Thank you! I missed that and had just posted asking about it.

Okay, it's Monday at 8:54 a.m., and Dae Jang-geum is being recorded on my tv as I write. It actually started a minute ago, immediately after the end of OMR.
So adjust your VCRs.
Bo
PS - I know the board says it's after 9, but it's really earlier.

Yes, it started around 8:51 or 8:52. I hope this means we get ALL the scenes that are trimmed for the evening showings

Don't know about whether we'll get all the scenes--it ended about 5 minutes to 10. I'm posting a recap of the first couple of scenes as a separate thread.

Does this mean that OMR started earlier than 8:30? If so, I would have liked some notice.

I have my vcr set for 8:20, sweetie, and almost always (since I started taping) have had only a couple of minutes before the show started. Occasionally, it has started the moment my tape did. But I do seem to be in an alternate time zone from the rest of Chicago, here. Bo

I have mine set so I don't miss the beginning, but I wondered if it might have started earlier than usual today because of the Jang-geum repeat. Usually I go from 8:29 to 9:10 just to allow extra time at each end.

I always used to start recording the AM airing of OMR at 8:20, but after a couple of early starts recently, I moved it back 'til 8:17.
I saw the beginning af JG this mornitng, but though it was a promo, and turned it off. Luckily, I had recorded Feiday eve's, so I was (mostly) covered.
Is this going to be permanent? Much as I like nature shows and PO-PO-PO, I want my Jang Geum!
