What did you guys think of how they pushed us forward in time a bit in tonight's episode? I think it was done very well and at least we didn't have to suffer through days of watching HR and HK staring off into space with blank or pained expressions on their faces. It's been nice to see SY happy for once, playing golf and walking arm in arm with Granny. I'm sure her happiness won't last long though at least we won't have to worry about cancer. Old RH is still up to her tricks, always stirring up trouble. Why doesn't she just leave already? Hasn't she made everyone miserable enough? Wonder if there will be more time travel in the near future....

I kinda wish they would FF it even more, like to the final 5 episodes already. What more is left to see (I know, I know the best is yet to come) but if I have to see one more scene w/neither Hye-ran or HK talking and just staring bleakly into space I'll scream.
Has anybody ever seen the painting "The Scream" that's how I feel like. And yet I just can't turn away.

That was such a happy episode, I thought for sure Soon-young would have cancer, and it would have been 35 solid minutes of "Aigu's!" (notice I changed the spelling -- following Michael's and Bo's example  ). It was so nice to see SY and Granny happy together. But let's not forget Aunt Myun-joo -- she might have broken up Hye-ran and Hyun-kyu, but Min-jae is still on her hit list! Hopefully the series will focus more on Min-jae and Yu-gin. And Myun-joo doesn't seem too happy about Mother and Daughter-in-law getting along. So don't give up on it yet, Galacticchic! Auntie has at least 30 more episodes to kick this series up a notch! Sometimes fast forwards can be hard to get used to - especially when someone gets a dramatic new haircut. That was a FF that I could endure! |
