I was almost buying into the melodrama of Hyun-kyu's pain when he found Hye-ran, but he blew it with that "The tree where you puked" line! What a gross memory! OK, mention the bus, or certain events at Joyland, but keep that memory to yourself! And Hye-ran remembered that line back home, fondly. Yuck! Totally ruined the romance. On another note, I've really enjoyed OMR since Hye-ran has been exiled to Busan. Not having to watch her oh-so fake crying scenes has been refreshing. She was barely in the past few eps., just chopping fish and lifting heavy objects. I didn't miss her one bit!

Some call it gross...others call it intimate! ;D ;D It's all about the "shared" moments, you see... Yea, I do enjoy seeing Hye-Ran in her "Rosie-the-Riveter" phase, delivering morning papers or bussing fastfood tables. It makes for a nice change from the endless tears--she gets a lifetime achievement award for "Best Crybaby Ever" in any soaps, Korean or otherwise ;D

I actually thought her crying scenes yesterday where the most convincible. The ones where she's in her Moma's arms, wheezing and sobbing like it really hurt. That's how real people cry. I HATED it when she would just close her mouth. I want to hear sobs, unintelligible noises.
Actually the part where she said she couldn't breath reminded me of when I was young and had to wear my inhaler around my neck...ah memories. LOL!

Well Roasie is back in town, hopefully the tears come to a halt. She could cause the Des Plaines river to over flow it's banks with all those tears.
Iagree, someone upchucking although a memory is hardly a fond one.
I'm wondering what Mr. OH wants to see her for?

I'm still bored with their "situation" but she did a good job there. Bo

I agree. Excellent acting job from Hye-ran the Beauty Queen, for once. I got a little misty, too. It was also because of the particularly good writing. The OMR writers must have woken up out of their autopilot mode. ("I'm sleepy!" "I don't have any ideas!" "Let's just have that sappy music play for a couple of scenes while the camera sweeps around on a crane and silently observes HK and HR in their misery.")
But her acting just prior to that was sub-par. She is usually like a zombie anyway, so her standing there immobile did not speak to me of a landmine waiting to blow or a kettle starting to boil: it just looked like Night of the Living Dead and I couldn't figure out what the hell she was trying to convey.

lol You guys are so funny. I also thought HR did a better job of crying in that scene where she was weeping and her mom hugged her. At least her nose got red. I've never cried where I didn't end up with a red, runny nose. And the part where she couldn't breath also rang true to me. When you break up with someone that you really love and your mind wanders to the future, thinking about living without that person can make you feel like you're going to die. I do hope that we're not just going to see HR and HK now though. I've enjoyed seeing SY and the changes in the OH household. Just watching the HR and HK staring longingly gets old really fast.

Do you really think HR is that wooden? I thought when HK finds her on the dock & they were staring at each other, there was this subtle little thing she did with her mouth. Just a little quiver with her lip. But from that I knew she was going to be nasty. Mad, not "you came for me." That little quiver said to me, "how dare you come looking for me while I'm over here trying to forget you!!!"

She was miserable and messy and would probably have liked to have a SHOWER before meeting up with the love of her life. Maybe that's why she dumped him, eh? Bo
