I don't know if these are actually recaps, because I'm only going by what seemed "minor" and that might be left out (from Thursday night). First, the reason Dong-pyo could be so cool about Yuri's phone call was because at dinner in the previous scene, Yu-kyung took mercy on him and told him she was out with Soon-young. (Although she clearly did not know the seriousness of SY's situation.) Second, I think granny's reaction to SY taking a trip in this situation was perfectly justified. Someone else mentioned that she could have said she was checking into the hospital for a "rest"--they might buy that. (Although Min-jae probably would catch on.) Another scene I thought might have been deleted was one where Yuri was ineffectually saying, "Soon-young, wake up!" She did not seem very insistent. It was laughable. No one would wake up with that wispy little voice calling. But the friendship developing between Yuri and SY is sweet. It's too bad SY did not have her support all these years. That nurse seems rather ineffective, too. She put the oxygen mask on SY so that the chin was hanging off--how much use is that? Finally, nobody has mentioned Tae-ho wiggling his little butt trying to sleep, when Soon-ok was calling him. Why didn't he just shut off his phone - LOL? And shouldn't he shut off the lights? (I know, I know, soap opera conventions...) Bo

I agree. Even though she was horrible to SY and should have known that she is too good and selfless to take off on some glamorous vacation when the family is going through a crisis, it's unfair to chastise Kwi-boon for getting mad when she's been deliberately deceived. We can see the consequences of such deception in the scene where In-hwan talks to Soon-young after finding out she's been in the hospital and says, "Don't make me a shameless husband." In other words, "don't make it seem as if I'm heartless and don't care about you when I didn't even know you were sick." Yeah, he should have been more considerate of her even if she weren't sick, but keeping everything to yourself is evidence of a bit of a martyr complex.
