Is this drama at all popular in Korea? I've done searchs for other forums on this drama and found next to nothing. If I have found a forum with OMR on it, the posts are so old and dated from the start of this drama, seems no one is following it as much as here. Thank God for here, I'm addicted.

This kbc OMR board is THE happening place for all Korean dramas! ;D

After Dae-jang-gum finished in Korea, OMR has been in #1 rating spot in Korea.

There are several othe active boards - see my recent post in the 'Min-jae dad' thread. One thing that I find cumbersome about the KBFD and SoCal boards is that they have just one long thread for each show, without any subtopics, and you have to make sure you go to the last page to see the latest - in the SoCal board, that's page 90-something. The way Yahoo! does it is a little better, in that you see the most recent messages right away, but it's still one long series of messages. I think that if you view it via e-mail, rather than viewing it on the Web, you can follow it better; I strictly use the Web view for Yahoo! groups, so I'm not sure about that. I really like how this board has an area for each show, and seperate threads for each topic within them. I am glad that Michael chose a board host with this type of system. There also seems to be one (in Korean) on KBS's site: www.kbs.co.kr/drama/100rose/netizen/bbs/bbs.html

WOW! Thanks for the heads up on the Yahoo group. I know people here don't like spoilers but I enjoy reading them and making sense of what I see on the actual eps when shown. They add something rather then take away from the viewing. Thanks again!

They add something rather then take away from the viewing. Thanks again! Yeah, I agree! And I love posting them in Theresa's group. I now feel I truly understand this show, and why the characters act and feel the way they do....For instance, it makes even more sense now why In-hwan was really burdened by guilt...and why Myung-joo really hates him and Hyun-kyu....I think I really understand her reasons....I for one do not really see her as an evil character...a tragic figure perhaps, but not evil....It obvious to me that she sees her actions as a way of defending the family honor (Lee family) and protecting the memory of a sister she was so close to..... As she recalled in a past episode, In-hwan seemed to have forgotten how Joyland was built...with a big chunk of Lee family money!
