This is Elbs. I registered but havent received my password in my mail. I tried clicking the "forgot my password button" and every time it said "the password has been sent to your email address" but i never get it. My guess is that maybe i entered my email address incorrectly on the register page.(?) What should i do?  (unless the process is supposed to take this long...) p.s. Darn it, I couldnt post under "Elbs" because i had registered as Elbs, so I had to resort to "Elby"... |

As Ned Flanders would say "Well that's a dilly of a pickle." Okay back to the problem at hand. When I first registered I think it took a couple of hours (maybe 1 or 2) but if this is going on for longer than that, then you probably did enter the incorrect email. When I first Registered some times the address go to bulk mail , because your e-mail might recognize it as spam. just a thought.

I feel for Elbs. Nothing is more irritating than being called by the wrong name. I hope you get the email soon.
Should we have a contest to pick a new name for Elbs, based on her full name? Is that your "real" nickname, Elbs, the one you use with your friends? We promise not to call you "Elby" no matter what.

PS - hey, what if you used "Elbs1" or something similar as a new name? Wouldn't that work? Oh, wait--you'd lose your board status. Argh.

Now Elbs is my official alias...  The "E" and "L" are the first two letters of my first name. "B" is my middle initial, and "S" is the first letter of my last name. I was quite proud to have come up with that...  |

Go to www.proboards.com/ I agree, this is entirely too long a time to wait for a password, maybe something went wrong along the way. Or I guess you'll have to be Elbo, although as I understand it you won't be losing your status since I don't think guests' posts are counted, or are they? |
