I wonder who wil be the next to find out about Tae-il killing Hyun-kyu's mother. Kum-ja doeasn't want her children to find out, but Hyun-kyu's story isn't too convincing, so Hye-ran and Min-jae are suspicious. The only other people who know are In-hwan and Tae-ho, but I don't think either one of them knows everything. In-hwan saw Tae-il at the park, but doesn't know he's Hye-ran's father. Tae-ho knows his brother went to prison for a fatal hit and run, but I think only Kum-ja knows it was Hyun-kyu's mother. If Sun-ok does get In-hwan to talk to Tae-ho about investing in his air-purifier business, might they meet at Kim Ki-soo's restaurant, where Tae-il now works? If it came out there, I doubt Tae-ho could keep it a secret from Hye-sung for long. There is so much going on now, who knows what will happen? Well RedStone probably does , but I will just wait and see. And now the sister of Hyun-kyu's dead mother is to be introduced. As if things weren't compicated enough already!

No, I would agree it seems pretty clear that neither In-hwan or Tae-ho realize the connection yet. Only Keum-ja put it together because she recognized In-hwan's face from the hospital and from the police station. In-hwan didn't see Keum-ja, or simply failed to notice her, and Tae-ho never saw them before either.
In-hwan probably was told the name of the man arrested, but how many people w/ the name of Park are there in Korea? Millions, no doubt. It seems like everyone on a Korean drama are named either Park, Lee or Kim. Anyway, my point is, it's not a name that would immediately throw up a red flag for In-hwan. No one has hardly mentioned Hae-ran's father to him; all he's heard is that her father is dead. The rest of his name was never told to him. So I'm sure it's the last thing he'd expect.
I do think though that, as w/ any Korean drama, the secret is just waiting to come out and everyone will know in good time.
I'm wondering too about what effect the emergence of Hyun-kyu's maternal aunt will have on things. I had heard a new character would be added soon, and change the dynamics of things considerably...but I didn't know who or why or what.

My theory is that Tae-il will come to visit his daughter at the park and be introduced to Oh In-huan (her boss). They will recognize each other (again), things will get jinky and Hye-ran will demand to know what's going on, Dad'll confess, Hye-ran will instantly know what happened with Hyun-kyu, and ... oh, that's about as far as I got.
I remember thinking the fact that Tae-il visited the park was another instance of his incredible stupidity (didn't he KNOW he'd killed the wife of Joyland?), but then Min-jae's mother mentioned that the park wasn't being built until after they'd married, so he's at least not guilty of that. That's why I think he'll accidentally meet Oh again in company with Hye-ran.

Well, Redstone, I'll take a pass on the spoilers.
But, that was quick! I thought they'd have Hyun-kyu suffer in silent agony for at least three more episodes, and even during the first part of tonight's episode, I was thinking, "Hyun-kyu doesn't have anyone he can talk about it to". Then, there he is, telling Min-jae, and calling him 'big brother' to boot.
The way this pot is boiling, they better have plenty of liquid, lest the show burn out too soon. So far, though, it looks like it will keep charging along.

Well, apparently, in the hilarity that ensued under this post, I mixed up "get jiggy" with "get jinky"--which means nothing at all. And it turns out "get jiggy" means to get dressed up in one's finery, not that everything starts getting ugly and messed up, which is what I thought. Bo
