Did you ever notice that when father abandons the family and later comes back, the wife and kids had to make do on their own without him. Yet the father and everyone outside the family thinks the wife and kids should forgive and forget that he abandon them and they can't figure out why the wife and kids hold some kind of resentment towards the father. Yet if the shoe was on the other foot, the wife has to go through a whole lot more before she can be forgiven. I was just wondering if anyone had noticed that little quirk. :-)

Agree with you completely, Sasami. Not only that (and I haven't been reading the board lately so I don't know if anyone brought this up), but are these Park men the STUPIDEST MEN IN KOREA? I think we know where Hye-sung got his brains from. Here Mom is, so distraught she's starving herself, can't sleep, falling down (literally) from exhaustion. She says to Uncle, "If your brother is alive, Hye-ran cannot marry." She says to Husband, "I don't hate you. Ji-hoon doesn't matter. Your daughter's life will be completely ruined if you don't leave right away." What do these yo-yos say to each other? "Oh, a woman scorned! Nudge, nudge! Isn't she soooo harsh! We'll show that b---h!" Unbelievable.
