Wasn't Mi-Joo's recital adorable? And hilarious. I don't know what's wrong with Yu-Kyung; Hye-Sung is a cutie. The only thing that might be stopping her is that Hye-Sung's mental age is about the same as Mi-Joo's. Bo

The relationship between Hye-sung and Yu-kyung is becoming my favorite one of the show. I would say Hye-sung is 'child-like' rather than 'childish'; he is so besotted with Yu-kyung that he comes after her like a thirteen year old. He adores Mi-joo, also. Hye-ran accused him of being superficial when he congradulated her for snagging the son of the President of Joyland, and he talked with his uncle about marrying a rich woman, but he seems to be sincere about Yu-kyung. But will his previously expressed superficiallity come back to bite him? (Probably )

In Chicago, they seem to cut a lot of stuff out when it comes to these two. I think it was two or three nights ago, when just as they were about to start a scene w/those two they cut to commercials. I was hoping that they would start where they had left off, but no they edited that piece out. I couldn't help but laugh at how MJ describes that "she's dull that way" (as in referring to her lack of interest in men) as if he is such a Casanova.

Yes, I love Hye-Sung, especially the way he laughs when she acts mean to him. She can do (almost) no wrong in his eyes. He has such a happy, good nature. I don't blame him for being so delighted that Hye-ran is dating the president's son; if my family were that much in debt, I'd be glad to hear that particular news--especially since Hyun-kyu also is so nice and respectful to the family and to H-R.
It was a little embarrassing and a little presumptuous, though, for him to stand up and dance with Mi-joo in the daddy/daughter dance. On the whole, however, I think making Mi-joo happy was the more important thing. Gosh, that kid is adorable. And there is great chemistry between her and the other actors, who obviously dote on her in real life; their smiles and reactions to her seem so genuine.
As for the editing, I never watch the evening showing anymore but rather tape it the next morning. There are no commercials, and though I don't know (yet) what you mean by the scene between Hye-sung and Yu-kyung being cut, I look forward to seeing it uncut, as the eppies usually seem to be in the morning.

I also love the relationship between Hye-sung and Yu-kyung! ;D I can't remember all of them, but there are definitely some classic scenes between these two characters: 1) The time when HS was drunk and YK went to get him. She helped him keep balance while he muttered things drunkenly. He even spit in her eye when he was yelling something 2) The time when HS and YK were eating sushi(?) at this restaurant and HS spit rice in her hair. 3) The time when HS confessed his feelings for YK and grabbed her in a hug. 4) The time when HS grabbed YK in a kiss It was very sweet of HS to dance with MJ at her ballet recital. I hope that YK will give HS a chance....he seems like a really nice guy!

I think my favorite so far is when he's the 'ghost in the mirror' in Yu-Kyung's bedroom. Snort.
These two really remind me of the eldest son and his fiance/wife on Who's My Love. They, too, were a clunky, sweet, seemingly ill-matched couple. I hope this turns out as well.
