On Monday evenings, at about 6:40, WOCH broadcasts a KBS show, in which celebrities work at menial jobs for charity. Tonight, one of the segments featured a woman and a man who was the tallest Korean I have ever seen, at least seven feet. Their job was to be extras in AOW (There was a similar episode a few years ago where someone was an extra in EWG). They played various roles, including peasants and soldiers. The woman did not look quite fearsome as a soldier, in spite of the false beard she was sporting. Niether one was very convining at handling their pikes, so the director made the man lay in a snowbank, and play a dead guy. The extras seem to only get plastic prop weapons, and some of them broke . It was something to see how many takes have to be shot to get what we finally see on TV. And, it sure looked cold! Unfortunately, Christy Kim's subtitles were nowhere to be found.
