If you tried to watch this episode on YouTube you found the audio mess that I just found. No proper sound anywhere in the episode. DramaCool has this series too and their Episode 18 plays properly. Here's the link: dramacool.pa/king-of-the-wind-episode-18.html

My apologies, still an episode behind. Hopefully I pick it up in the next few days.
Right off the bat in this one, much better. We see Sado riding with the girl in broad daylight, so nobody in the palace has any reason to guess what’s going on. And LH reacts exactly how we’d expect her to. It hurt her, and understandably so, but at the same time she knows that this is how it works with princes.
Really not a lot to say about this one. Continues to be the Youngjo story more than the Sado story. Which is fine, no complaints if that’s the angle they want to take. The high point was seeing how much it meant to Youngjo to get his mother’s grave promoted. It was very moving, at least to me. His pride and all of the relief and unburdening he felt, it was conveyed well. And now he’s back to being reflective and treating his son properly.
Still, his wild inconsistency, you can see how that would drive a son to distraction. And I guess the scene at the end has him blaming a political party for something that I think was caused by Sung-gook, wasn’t it? Or did I misunderstand that....
Hey we got a clenched fist! There’s a cliché we haven’t gotten much of lately. Nice to have it back.
Lady Moon: “He’s temperamental but regrets easily too.” She is perceptive, no question. And this business with the three tests of the gatekeepers at different times of the day, this is a smart person thinking everything through. Still, the whole thing seems so outlandish that I just can’t get past the feeling that she’s way, way out of her league here.
“One out of the three will be a match.” Whatever happens will happen, and I don’t think it will matter much either way, but I am so hoping that they all are girls and beat the odds! How funny would that be.
