So we'll do KOTW shortly after finishing EWG. It's the shortest of the four older historicals that are still easily available online, so it will interfere the least with the coming new KBS2 drama.
I'll populate the board with the usual sticky threads later this week.

Just wanted to clarify that King of the Wind is an MBC drama, not an SBS drama. SBS was broadcasting Hong Gil Dong '98 at the time, among other dramas.

I have not seen all of it but from what i saw I really liked . Gorgeous musical score also which is always a good thing .

Yessir, absolutely! I'll need a couple of weeks to go through my EWG threads and write a wrapup and then we'll start on KOTW. But I still want to get that movie finished first.

I am so surprised MBC have not yanked this from you tube . They along with KBS and SBS are notorious for getting their dramas taken down . Somehow this one has slipped through the cracks or itβs 25 years old and they donβt care ? . Good for us though .
People were subbing West Palace, Ladies Of The Palace and Namhan Mountain Fortress and they were all taken down just a few episodes into each one .

What's really irritating about that is that they keep the dramas under lock and key and we can't see them anywhere. I completely understand them wanting to protect their investment and their copyrighted work, but for heaven's sake put it online somewhere! Subtitle it all, it can't possibly cost very much to find some college kids studying history or whatever to do some subs, and put it on Kocowa or whatever. Wasn't that supposed to be the whole point of Kocowa? Sheesh. And you make some money with it.
Anyway, let's start this series this weekend OK? I'll put up a schedule and we can watch the first episode this weekend. I'm behind on stuff wrapping up EWG but that shouldn't hold up starting this one. I do apologize to you guys for the delay, I have two old parents with health issues and it's a challenge but I'm eager to jump into this too.

Although I watched both Dong Yi and Lee San a long time ago, I'm going to need the character roster to help keep all these characters straight. Lots and lots of introductions in Episode 1.

Yeah first episodes can take some work but this one caught me off guard, it really did get sort of complicated. Some time jumps that weren't indicated with year numbers, those would have helped. I'm doing some extra work tonight and will try to give some clarification to make this easier.
