Something is clearly going on with the English subtitles. MTR said that the network isn't subbing their shows any more and I'm looking for more information on that. But clearly as of hour 9/episode 17 we're getting amateur subs instead of network subs.
I'm grateful to whoever is doing them so that we can finish the series. But yikes there are some pronoun issues, aren't there...you/I, he/she, him/her. If you haven't watched this episode yet, be forewarned that there are confusing moments.
OMG-when I first read this post with the statement that the network wasn't subbing their shows anymore, I had a quick and painful flashback to the day when DramaFever dropped out of site right in the middle of a drama.....I almost dropped my laptop....hope we can finish this without any issues.
Yeah the subs for hour 10 were definitely improved. Not perfect but nothing like hour 9, fortunately. Hope it continues.
bird I had a couple of those flashbacks! One was when we were watching Iron Empress and KBS severed its ties to the WOCH broadcast station. (I think there were other series being watched here too that got cut off.) And then two years ago we were watching King Geunchogo when DramaFever pulled the plug with no warning. I remember you were watching something else yourself on DF at the time.
To be fair, this situation may be different--it could be the network has to cut expenses temporarily because of the pandemic. I'll keep looking for more information.
