I like the soundtracks but not the pop songs though the one in God Of Warriors is ok much prefer the instrumental scores . The title of God Of Warriors in the MBC America broadcast is just Warrior . I changed the thread title since that is supposed to be the official English title.

The MBCD schedule, which is the channel that airs in Chicago just calls it "Soldier"... But "Drama-wiki" also calls it "Mushin"... I'm guessing that means soldier too... Warriors was one of the worst movies ever made... This was considered the best scene from the movie... Warriors come out and play...I actually paid to watch that crap-fest...God bless the internet...

I have been watching it from a good friend who has been recording it and it just says Warrior ,I guess various broadcast areas use differing titles just to confuse the issue both Dramafever and Dramacrazy have it as God Of War ..Unsubbed Malay Bootleg i saw in Chinatown have it as Warrior Part 1 (as it is still on the air ).

Ducky - the movie Warrior/s is not the same as the K-drama on Drama fever, Right? I think that one has about five different names LOL -- gets confusing but then at my age confusion is part of life Anyway - I clicked on that url you put up and I would have to agree that even that short viewing would leave me to believe that this is a garbage bag story -- too bad you can't get a refund on the admit price you paid to watch it -- they could at least give a free coupon for a big box of popcorn ;D. .

Actually not to stray off topic as God of /Warriors is on hiatus because of the Olympics (BIG TEST for South Korea up against Brazil in the soccer ).
Anyway The Warriors (1979 ) was the film that put Walter Hill on the map and has retained its place as a Midnight Movie like Rocky Horror Picture Show (which i hate with passion as i had to work its showing every Fri/Sat night for about 2 years ),At the time it came out it was a massive hit based loosely on Homer no less ,still airs on Turner Classic Movies and has midnight showings around the country off and on .Its one of those films that never seems to go away .
Myself i liked it as a kid but could not sit through it again .
Now back to Kim Jun in about a week .

Wait, you used to work at a theatre?
Subs for episode 46 still isn't out, but Choi Hang is crazy as usual. I'm confused to what happened with Oh Sunji. He was thrwon off the boat, but the guy who threw him off told him how to survive....what?

He was thrwon off the boat, but the guy who threw him off told him how to survive....what? His name is Oh Seungjeok, not Oh Sunji. That's exactly what happened in history. He survives thanks to the guy who helps him before being thrown off the boat, but he eventually gets killed later after Choi Hang finds out he's alive.

Episode 44 . . . . . . . . . Kim Jun finally seems to be starting to flex his political muscle. This makes him a little more interesting.
Yup, Choi Hang is a nut case. Fun lies ahead.
The two scholar teachers - this is where the believability factor (for me) goes down to zero. We're supposed to believe that these guys are the top two scholars in the country, and here they are sucking up to Choi Hang from the get-go. Especially the one who is played by the actor who seems to have spent 99.9% of his career playing smirking, sucking-up slimeball henchmen. Yes, I realize that scholars are people too, and they may be ambitious, and they may wany wealth and power. Maybe if they were low-level scholars who couldn't make the grade by their own brilliance, I could understand. But the top guys? Not showing any concern for morals and Confucian rules? And it's not as though they seem to be fearful for their lives, so they're just playing along with him. I hope we get some explanation for these guys' motives. If the writers want to include some high-level people who are trying to ride to power on Choi Hang's coattails, they could have found something better than scholars. IMHO.

Politicians are always corrupted whether it was 2000BC, Koryo, Joseon, or now.

Choe Hang is a cartoon. Evil without any nuances. Fitting his teachers would be cartoons too.
In any case I'm glad the Fengba actor has a role. He is always great to watch for some reason.

Yi Seung Gyu, the actor of Kim Hong Chui(one of Yim Yeon's buddies), was killed in an motorcycle accident on August 11th(August 10th in USA). He got in an accident while he was driving home on his motorcycle after watching Korea vs Japan soccer match. He was 32 on the time of his death.
