This thread is for discussion of episode 13 of My Man's Woman. Please check the drama info & schedule thread for more info and rules on how to avoid spoilers and such.
---------------------------------------------------------
Dal Sam meets with Joon Pho to encourage him to move in with his parents like his dad wants them to. Joon Pho tells him he can't leave Hwa Young.
Ji Soo begins to try to explain her behavior from the last time she met with Suk Joon but he tells her she doesn't need to talk about it if she doesn't want to. He tells her instead about his past and some things he's not so proud of. Ji Soo then explains about Joon Pho and they talk about her marriage and relationships in general.
Joon Pho goes to see Kyung Min and Ji Soo but when arrives at the house, no one is home. Joon Pho bought Kyung Min a new phone. Joon Pho tells Ji Soo not to go out late and leave Kyung Min alone or with Eun Soo often but she tells him to mind his own business.
Dal Sam comes home drunk and smelling like perfume so Eun Soo gives him a full body exam.
The next day Ji Soo gets a call from her father-in-law asking them to come over. Ji Soo calls Joon Pho but he's tired and doesn't want to go. Ji Soo goes by herself and attempts to explain to Joon Pho's dad why moving in wouldn't be a good idea for them. He's displeased but drops the matter. He gives Ji Soo spending money, which we later find out in the episode, is a lot.
Ji Soo sends Joon Pho a text letting him know what happened with his father and them moving in.
Ji Soo and Eun Soo talk about Suk Joon. Eun Soo tells her not to rush into anything. To continue to meet as friends and build on their relationship.
While grocery shopping, Ji Soo and Eun Soo run into Joon Pho and Hwa Young. Eun Soo confronts them and causes a scene in the middle of the store. After, Joon Pho is upset with Hwa Young for dragging him to the grocery store, only to end up running into Ji Soo and Eun Soo. Hwa Young, in turn, gets upset with him.
It's raining when Hwa Young shows up at Ji Soo's house.
---------------------------------------------------------
Just when I was beginning to root for Ji Soo and Suk Joon, he has to go and talk about picking up prostitutes. I mean, why would you even want to bring that up? It's not going to make her like him more. All hope is now gone.
The scene at the grocery store has to be my favorite scene so far. Everything from Eun Soo's reaction when she first spots them, to poor Ji Soo being left standing there as Eun Soo charges at them, to Hwa Young and Joon Pho being lovey dovey until they realize it's Eun Soo doing all the yelling, to the chaos that Eun Soo causes in the middle of a crowded store. I've watched this scene several times and each time I get a big kick out of it.
