You may have noticed I'm posting short recaps of all the episodes. This to help people who are not sure what happened when or who watched the drama awhile ago. I hope this gooses our discussions a bit.
Again, Wujin asks Taesok, Why shouldn't we dream? Why shouldn't I ream my boss out loudly in front of a poor elevator prisoner until she escapes to her floor? [LOL] Taesok gives her a few choice words in return. Wujin spends the day attacking and ignoring Taesok, not finding out until later that he gave her a very high score on the extemporaneous portion of her tryout. Myung-eun, her rival, screws up spectacularly. When everyone finds out about Wujin's high score from Taesok, M-E decides they must be sleeping together. Wujin makes it to final interview, and asks Taesok why he scored her so well if he thinks she's such a fool, but he says, you did well. But you COULD be a fantastic reporter, so I'm disappointed. Wujin learns just before her interview that Nana Makne is dying. She goes into her building, and the President says he wants to make her a star, but she feels terrible. Finally, she flees the interview to go to Nana's bedside, but it's too late. At the funeral, which apparently takes place immediately, the family give her Nana's "final wishes" on a recorder. Then we see the report being aired on the evening news. From Taesok to Wujin: Great Job. Next, it's the last day of the probation period for the rookies, so first they do videos of them singing and dancing for the sunbaes. They go to an amusement arcade. At pizza dinner, they play a role switching game, and Soonchul wins Wujin, Wujin wins Taesok. (We learn that all that stuff Wujin said to Soonchul when she met him is just standard hazing, and also that Wujin's friend with the glasses, who has a female rookie assigned to him, never did any of it to his own rookie. He's embarrassed, obviously, there's something between them.) Meantime, their bosses are manning the newsdesk and find out about a stabbing in front of a restaurant. "Can't be anyone famous" and they ignore it. Of course, it IS someone famous, a congressman, and they call Taesok about it. Wujin gets a call from someone at the police station about the same sit, and that's our end.
