So, Prince Song ages fifteen years in fifteen seconds, and the closing credits roll. I head into the kitchen, but can still hear the TV. "That can't be the news! What the . . ." A ten minute blast from the past

Yep, that *has* to be the record for the longest horseback ride ever… And further, what do you want to bet everyone else looks the exact same 15 years later??

The same thing happened in Legend of the Four Gods with BYJ and his ladyfriend.

And it was done in Great King Sejong as well. They have to have some way of depicting the passage of time when there's a long period to pass over, so I didn't mind it...but like zorro said, I'm wondering what the rest of the characters are going to look like tonight.

I've never seen anything as ridiculous as tonight's episode. The list of goofs is long, but for one of them, it seems the makeup department used up all the aging makeup on Vice Minister, Seo Hui, and had nothing left for the other characters.

Tonight's episode made me want to drink! What a shame though, that that sweet little boy developed into such a madman . . . thru no fault of his own. This was, I believe, a very complex episode. The guy who played the grown up prince was an absolute wild man who played his role admirably. He looked familiar but I can't pinpoint it. And teacher, you're right. They used all the makeup on Seo Hui. Nobody aged! Gang Jo looked younger and attractive. And the King... for all his maladies, looked pretty much the same except for the red rims around his eyes. The ending wherein the prince admitted to himself that he was a basic failure was touching. But man, at that 60th B'Day party for Loony Minister of Finance I'll bet rehearsing those scenes made everyone an alcoholic.

The "selective aging" problem we saw last night, we also saw in DJY and GKS. Certain characters show obvious signs of aging and others show none. I wish there were more consistency about that in these shows because it can be an irritation. The one that got me last night was Go Hyun, the king's attendant--he was an old man before but doesn't appear to have aged a day, and now he doesn't look much older than Seo Hui. I thought a few of the other characters looked a bit older, but you guys are right, nobody aged like Seo Hui did.
And yes, mikey, the prince acted just like his dad, and I'm sure it was intentional. I thought he did a great job of acting JUST like his dad. (Wonsoong thought so too--"apple doesn't fall far from the tree" etc.) He must have studied tape.

BTW the Prince or now King Mokjong never had epilepsy thats a fabrication ,neither was he a mean drunk ,in actual fact he was a consumptive . Hunae was never an Empress or E Dowager ,she was only a Queen later Queen Dowager . Goyeo was only an empire under Wang Gun than it was all downhill .
