Is this show available in DVD or is it being shot as we speak. I would love to see somewhere on the interenet episode by episode what had taken place. But that is too much to wish for.
I only noticed two months ago that show had english subtitles. Now my family is glued to the TV on Sat & sun 9pm watching this fascinating series.

As I hear it, Age of Warriors is still in production in Korea, so it has a long way to go before it concludes here in America.
Rumor had it that it *might* someday be relased on DVD -- but probably without English subtitles. Can't confirm that rumor one way or the other, though. We'll know more in the months ahead as the series starts to wind down.

They'd be crazy to do it without English subtitles. THey have the subtitles done and could make some $$$ over here. My wife and I still say "disperse the eunuchs" from time to time. ;D

But even if it is released on DVD...they wouldn't subtitle it in english. If you import it, you need a region 2 (or 1...I'm not sure which we are) DVD player. I doubt it would bring in much money anyway. I'd guess only among Koreans and people who already like the show or korea. That wouldn't bring in much at all. If they released a few, the prices might be astrinomically high.

I know the males who attend to the Emperor/Empress are eunuchs. What do they do to the female escorts. Are they also sterilized. The Jang Guem series, which takes place a few hundred years later, gives much more insight into the lifes of the women who live in the palace. There are extremely severe penalties for any who is even suspected of consorting with a male (other than the Emperor). This probably copies Chinese court practice, since they seem to have modelled a lot of their law and ritual on the Chinese (who were the dominant power in the region). The women have it ingrained into them from very early how huge a crime it would be to have any intimacy with a man.

That did not prevent the princess trying to meet with KaeDae sung (former Convey the good Guy)or the Kyun(the bad guy) so called sister in the emperor palace to see kyun or his father Chung bu,when she is not supposed to be related to them.
