What doesn't get blamed on Saebyeok, gets blamed on Hosae. Mr. Kang knows Subin almost cost the company the Sol deal but says it's Hosae's fault? Sorry, but it's her fault regardless of what's happening between Hosae and her, it shows her true character or lack thereof. Why is she still the boss of her department let alone still have a job there? It seems nuts to me. She committed sabotage twice! Would she really be forgiven such actions?

I agree he's just a typical rich wimpy guy. Every single time, when they want to marry a girl their parents HATE and the girl tries to back out of it because she knows how much trouble is coming, the guy says, "Trust me, I'll protect you." And then they don't. Because they can't! What kind of a promise is that to make, anyway?

When you think of it, both Hosae and Saebyeok appear wimpy but it's only on the surface. He can't seem to get out of the mess he's in with Subin and his mom, and she lets herself be slapped, insulted, has water be thrown on her. But really, neither of them are giving up. He's convinced he's going to get the girl he loves and she, in spite of her objections, keeps letting him convince her. If I lived in a society where I couldn't speak my mind to my elders, I'd have probably caved by now and said the hell with love.
But then I'm not young any more.

Now that they're back together, I wonder how Hosae plans to protect SB. Here's what I think will happen:
Hosae: "SB, let's run away together. But wait. Instead of going far away, where no one knows us, let's go hide at the family summer house. No one will think to look for us there".
It's the perfect plan. ;D

Knov1 - It's been done before. Which makes it a certainty for this show Hmm, big plot development involving one or both of the romantic leads, and it's about ep 95 - 100. Yep, the ol' Daily Drama Express is right on schedule!

Speaking of being done before, didn't we see Sukyeong and Jongnam hiding away at an inn, fishing on the beach and playing house in Bizarre Bunch?
At least Hosae hasn't told Sabby to call him "Chief"… yet.
And here's hoping Sabby doesn't come back home nauseous the way Jongnam did.
Who's writing this stuff… Soyeong and Boknam??

I actually thought Hosae was kind of bossy and annoying lately. Saebyeok keeps telling him to wait because she wants to get approval. And, he just keeps plowing right along and blundering his way through the whole process. He just seems like another spoiled rich kid, who wants what he wants when he wants it.

I just need to ask this....With all these k-dramas, if you go on a 2nd date, you're engaged -- is dating really so serious in Korea ??

I was struck that Hosae and Saebyeok rented a room in Sokcho, just like in "So This Is Love". That scene remains my favorite scene ever in a K-Drama.
This time, though, they showed us a bit more of the city. I would love to visit Sokcho, as they are well known for their seafood, especially squid, a big fave of mine (especially the spicy kind).

In most Asian cultures the 'Dating' is not the same as seen in western world. More over, in a marriage it is not only the two individuals in the bind but the extended families as well. Therefore, the education and family standing in the society all come into play while selecting one's mate.

I'm going crazy with all the ups and downs. It's just about time for this drama to end. First, his parents don't want them to marry. Then, her parents. First, she's going to soldier on through the obvious hate of his mother. Now, she just may give up. My head is spinning!

ororodc, if you're viewing this drama outside of the Chicago area, please be careful about posting spoilers outside of the spoiler thread. Anything that's ahead of the Chicago timeline is considered a spoiler and should go in the spoiler thread. I don't watch this drama every day but based on what I've seen and other members have posted, I think you're ahead of us.
As a reference point, in yesterday's episode a new character, Charles, was introduced and it ended with Hosae's mother appearing in front of Saebyeok in Sokcho.

What is he (not) thinking? Is he desperate, delusional, or just plain dumb? Running off with SB's purse to register their marriage? Yeah, that'll work. Yuri, I can let slide somewhat since she's mostly clueless, but Hosae has become completely resistible. Subin may have gotten a blessing in disguise as at least Dr. Nam seems level headed. I used to think that about Hosae, but no more. He's gone from wimpy to whiney to wacko ever since he thought he could be a fisherman and live on the beach.

But the plan is brilliant. Getting married in Korea is easy. You can be legally married and not even know it. Now, getting divorced is a different story which makes his plan even better lol.
