I set my VCR to record Saturday night's episode, and instead, there was an episode 65 or so of a drama I'd never seen before with no subtitles. Anyone know what happened?

Are you sure you had it set right? I watched it "live" on Saturday, and it was on as usual. Lucy

I too was able to watch the episode just fine. In the future, if you miss an episode, they're repeated the next morning at 9am.

Here is a small summary, I am not too familiar w/the names of the characters, so bear with me.
Yon-ho's mom is in a panic and under constant stress now that she knows that the rumors about her father's betrayal is true. She is at first is in total denial, but after her father himself confirms it, she acts immediately. Yon-ho's grandpa (the thief) wants to beg Tae-woon's mom to forgive him for the wrong caused. By coincidence, Taw-woon's mom is visiting the grandpa because she reasons that just because his daughter an dher don't along, doesn't mean that she can pay him a courtesy visit. When she gets to see him, all he can say is "Please forgive me" and "I'm sorry".
As soon as Yon-ho's mom realizes that her father might spill the bean about him taking her Tae-woon's grandpa's money, she tells her that she must leave and that she is not welcome there so please stop visiting.
There is another girl, living in the same house complex as Tae-woong (sorry don't know her name) who works in a brokerage house (hope that helps) and likes Tae-woon's brother. Well, she gets drunk and says that she is going to live her life to fullest and have fun everyday. She wants to go study animation abroad but her father is adamantly opposed.
Yon-ho's father tells her and Tae-woon that the only way Yon-ho's mother will approve the marriage if she is forced to. In other words, they should marry without her approval, and she will probably come to accept it one day. He tells them to get married, but that he won't be able to attend. However, both Yon-ho and Tae-woon agree that they will wait till the mother approves.
Sorry I can't provide a lot more details, but this is the best I can remember.

That's a pretty good summary of the episode. I would've posted about it but it wasn't until after reading your post, galaticchick, that I remembered what happened. I can't remember much beyond that either.

I thought of something else. Yon-ho's father, having overheard something of what Jung-ran (his wife) and her father were yelling about in the previous episode, is now trying to get his wife to tell him what the secret it. She is pretending that nothing is wrong, and he protests, "But you're my wife." So now Jung-ran is lying to everyone, including her husband.
Jung-ran also gave a big chunk of money to the blackmailer, I guess for the building he wants to buy, and told him that's the end of that. Jung-ran and her father talked about how his conscience was torturing him and he was going to tell Ok-hee the truth. Jung-ran got very angry and forbade him from telling. She said that no good would come of telling Ok-hee after all these years that he stole her father's fortune, and that, having lied, he would just have to live with his conscience rather than ruin his own family, too.
