. . . maybe even wear something that's not high-necked and gray like a 1980s schoolteacher's outfit. Imagine her coming out in something sexy and colorful? Like this maybe:

I'll never understand men. Yeah, we feel the same way about women. You may have heard this before, but I have found instant bonding with any male citing references to "The Honeymooners" and "The Three Stooges". Okay, stop choking and rolling your eyes and check this out. Look beyond the yelling of Ralph and the violence of the Stooges, and you will see that men want to be able to provide a nice life for a woman who will love and understand them. Yeah, deep down we're as self conscious and insecure as women, but we don't ususally spend as much time dealing with personal appearance; it's more about function and comfort, then style. (I always felt Alice was one of the allstar TV wives along with Samantha Stevens). Other than that, like most people, we don't enjoy being bossed around which is why they are usually looking to start a business in these shows and leave their dead end jobs. Just remember, the gruff exterior is as much for attracting women (I swear, it really does seem like the "jerks" wind up with the heroine in real life) as it is to achieving rank in the gender (you know, the whole alpha male thing), but Ralph almost always ended the show by saying, "Baby, you're the greatest!" Along with those axioms, we tend to be slobs. I hope I have provided some helpful insight.

I feel really bad for JN. It's sad how she can't get what she wants in life ever. I hated seeing her look back slightly knowing that SH was behind waiting for her to turn around and smile at him like she used to. He definitely senses that there is a huge difference between who she was with him at the amusement park and who she is with him now that she's found out about him and HI. It was sweet of him to have bought the gloves for her. He bought her something that she really needed, as opposed to the thought he put into buying the perfume for HI.

I have to add my voice to the chorus and ask: "What's up with that dog, anyway? It never barks, and hardly ever moves?" I sure wish my neighbor's dogs never barked!

Yeah, did you ever see a dog sit under a Christmas tree, not moving, like that? That thing scares me a little.

I think Jongnam makes Sukhyun look more attractive. When he's with her he smiles more looks more relaxed, etc. When he's with Haein he always has this far away look ('cause he's thinking of Jongnam).
Oh and how hilarious was it yesterday when Kiwoong pulls his hand away from Jongnam. Maybe he thought she was trying to hold his hand or something.

Yeah! It was so weird, he was acting like JN when SH and she grabbed the *i want to say* drink at the amusement park. I too agree with you, GC in saying that I definitely don't notice that crazy, loose walk that SH has mainly because he's a bit more attractive to me now. ;-) She truly brings out the best in him. HI really expects more from him. She's not trying to have a relationship with SH, but she's trying to get him to become someone else. If I was in a relationship with someone as bummed out as HI fun-wise, I would go crazy. SH probably wouldn't have minded the monotony of his relationship with HI if it wasn't for JN who introduced him to having fun!

I don't know if Haein wants him to be like her dad in that he treats her like a princess. The thing is that Sukhyn has Royal Prince Disease himself so I don't think it's going to work out. Sukhyun needs someone to get him off that pedestal his mother put him on. Haein is so stiff, like when she wouldn't put on the silly hat for S, then she didn't want to eat the chicken feet (of course neither would I), she's actually rather boring. She's pretty, but other than that I don't know what Kiwoong is so crazy about. I do feel sorry for Jongnam though because she's trying to get away from him but Sukhyun keeps pulling her to him.

What crazy, loose walk? How interesting that you noticed his walk! Is he still doing it? I'd like to see it and notice it for myself. I am finding Sukhyun very cute these days. You gotta like a guy who starts out spoiled and priggish but finds he actually likes it when little gijipae Jongnam makes fun of him. He's becoming quite human and developing a sense of humor. It was sad when he tried to get Haein to try on the bunny hat. But it speaks well of him. He doesn't want to just reject her after the commitment they made, so he's trying to see if he can bring out her fun side, which is something he's realized he likes. Unfortunately, she doesn't have much of a fun side. (Sorry, Haein fans.) She's more of a gentle humor type of person. No running around gushing about TV shows and amusement parks for her.

I thought it was interesting that when Jong-nam came into the breakroom, after she had been hired, everybody stood up to greet her. Her status is higher now. Go, Jong-nam. Hwighting!

And then she bought them all a tiny bottle of pop, (juice?), just to let them know she hasn't forgotten all the little people... Also, what was that drink Ki-woong bought her B4 her audition & where can I get me some of that?

I think Sukhyun will become more attracted to Jong-nam when the question of his birth becomes clear. Right now, he's waiting for tests to see if his parents are his biological parents, but he may feel closer to JN who grew up in an orphanage. He may be attracted to JN because she's overcome the stigma of being an orphan, then, as a young adult, being "adopted" by his Aunt.
I missed some of the episodes, but I like JN. She's won her way into the hearts of nearly everyone except Sukhyun's miserable mother who treats her like "trash". I think that Sukhyun feels more comfortable with her than Haein who has a father that treats her like a "princess." JN doesn't expect a lot, but wins the hearts of those she comes in contact with.
