i feel for in-young having to do these treatments for so long. i think they should adpot a baby. mother -in law must be desprate to have a grand baby. why can't she enjoy her sisters child. if she would just leave them alone they could have a baby. i really like this point of view this shows tells about. it tells the pressure people have to go through to have a baby.

Wonder if they could find a surrogate mother, since it seems that they can make an embryo, but IY can't keep it going. First, they should take a vacation from MIL and let IY rest and find diversions or work. And warn MIL not to be Screech Mom or they will move out.

I, too, feel so sorry for In-young. Her MIL taking her to the clinic to see if she is pregnant, after all she's gone through, must be humiliating for her. It's almost like In-young is a "prize mare" that has to be bred.
Maybe if her husband, who's basically pleasing his SM, had moved out a long time ago, In-young might have become pregnant. The problem is that it's on SM's terms that In-young get pregnant. If In-young had been able to work, then deciding when it was time to start a family, the stress of being under SM's roof wouldn't have been there.

If In-young had been able to work, then deciding when it was time to start a family, the stress of being under SM's roof wouldn't have been there. But then what would be the point of this drama? It is the writer's way of making that point exactly. Stress from the in-law for a baby and making the DIL and her own son feel like machines. KJ said it badly but we can all understand what he is feeling too. He and IY hardly had time to be a couple when ScreechyMom started in on the "get pregnant" stuff - and she has kept her finger pointing at In young constantly. KJ should have stood up to his SM and told her to leave IY alone or they would move out. Also, why doesn't the OB doctor help out by telling SM that IY needs to rest her body for 6 months or longer so that the fertility procedures have a chance to work. I had a friend who underwent the fertility series and her OB insisted that she take at least a 6 month break between procedures so the body could gain strength. In today's eps IY finally tells SM she no longer will do the fertility procedures and SM has that look of incredulity as the episode ends. Can't wait for the next episode.

I feel very sorry for her after yesterday's episode. She has the right to do what she wishes with the body that's hers. I mean, Sm can't just tell the doctor that IY will go ahead with something when IY doesn't want it herself. I mean, SM was going back to being that evil MIL she was at the beginning of the show. I wish that KJ would just whole-heartedly support IY's choice to quit the procedures because it's wrecking the relationship they have got going.
