The drama of Ki-joon and In-young is like Romeo and Juliet, with both families in disagreement, more so with Ki-joon's crazy mother. In-young's family, her Aunt, in particular, see a disaster coming when In-young has to live with that crazy family.
In-young will have to deal with a controlling MIL, but also a spoiled sister-in-law in addition to a jilted, emotionally unstable Hee-joo who calls Ki-joon's mother "Mother". Ki-joon's Aunt and Uncle seem like normal people, but are powerless.
I just wish they'd run far away from Ki-joon's family to start a life without them.

I don't think Ki-joon has the backbone to leave his crazymother. Or maybe it's in their culture to submissive to the in-laws.

i'd also have to agree.... but he did leave once, he might again. but then in-young wouldn't let ki-joon move out because she couldn't separate mother and son like she said before.
