I think he's pushing this whole marriage thing. I mean, maybe there is such a thing as love at first sight, but it's like he's not thinking of what this will do.... he already bought rings...

What he ought to do is go live with his dad (where ever that is) and bring In-young with. We don't know anything about his father, but dad can't possiby be any worse thatn his mother; he'd be getting away from that horrible sister of his as well.

Ki-joon's father is deceased. But I agree that his father was probably not as bad as his mother. Ki-joon's sister (Jin-ah) is like a carbon copy of the annoying mother. I hope that Ki-joon took after his father...kind-hearted (at times) and not at all whiny and pushy like the mother.

Hmm. Why are Ki-joon's and Jin-ah's names so different? That's unusual.
She's an unlovely character, too. You're right, Lovely, she's sort of a Mini-Mommy.

Bo, i remember in one episode, jin-ah was like "well, i guess you could do that, since i'm not your daughter." but, i just thought she was just saying it to sound evil, do you think that it could have an underlying meaning?

I also wondered why Ki-jun and Ji-nah's names were different. If they were brother and sister...shouldn't they have one syllable in their name that is the same? Like Ki-jun and Ki-nah or Ji-jun and Ji-nah?

I just figured he left that wife of his (screech owl). Her sister keeps saying she's jealous of her, because she has a husband that loves her. Maybe daddy couldn't take the mother another minute and found someone else and left. Easy to understand if that's the case.

Because she keeps saying that people wouldn't understand a widow's heart, do you look down on me because I'm a widow, etc, etc.

Wait, wait! Not about the widow stuff, Ok-ja keeps telling her she's a widow, too, but WAIT about the "I'm not your daughter" stuff! Could the dead dad have a love child from an affair? That would explain all Ok-ja's innuendo about Ok-jin's husband not loving her! The only odd thing is, why would the daughter be so close to her "mother"? It seems most such children are treated with a certain degree of contempt, and not spoiled like she is. Hmm. A mystery. How wonderful.

wait, didn't in-young's dad in one episode ask his father-in-law to forgive him for soemthing? i think that in-kyung is the daughter of his affair and that's why the grandfather disliked him. because in-kyung says she remembered being held by her mother and the grandfather looks at her puzzled but sort of like dismisses it (sorry for the spelling).

Yes Bae ... that's right. If you weren't paying attention that could have slipped right by you. Nothing more has been said about it...but grandfather seems to like the granddaughter pretty much. I know he's only acting, but I really like the actor playing grandfather. He also plays someone very neat in Who's My Love?I wish the guy was my neighbor. If BansheeMom comes to 'visit' as she has threatened, grandfather will quietly put her in her place? ya think? Meanwhile the aunt who stuffs her ears to block out the sound of the TV, will INSTANTLY lose her hearing ...

I figured that Ki-jun's father is deceased when Ok-ja said to her husband, "Oh, let's stop talking about such and such because my widowed sister won't like it."
Maybe Ji-nah could be Ki-jun's half-sister. Ki-jun doesn't even show any affection to his sister the way In-chul shows to In-kyung. Maybe because Ji-nah is so annoying that Ki-jun won't even talk to her. Like at the breakfast table, Ji-nah asked her bro if he had another woman. Ki-jun didn't respond. But so far in the drama, I haven't seen Ki-jun and Ji-nah interact whatsoever.

Ki-joon's mother is a truly mean woman who tries to control her family. In the past, she was mean to In-young's mother, supposedly her friend, who brought her some food to celebrate her birthday.
This woman, with her shouting and controlling ways, is even worse than ESM from My Precious Child. She is the perfect match for Hee-joo who has the same diabolical mind. I just couldn't believe how Ok-jin went to In-young's home to insult her father, making it look as though the innocent In-young were some kind of trouble-maker and lose woman. I like In-young's father who is very sincere, calm and reflective. He understands that Ki-joon doesn't love Hee-joo but knows that his daughter will be in a very dysfunctional relationship if she marries him. In-young will become like Hee-soo trying to cope with Jin-kook's destructive family in MPC.
