 Kim Young-im, the actress who played female physician Eo-jin in "The Immortal Yi Soon-shin (2004~2005), died of breast cancer on Dec. 7th, 2007. May her soul rest in peace...  |

Oh my gosh, I can't believe it! I just found out several days ago that she had cancer. I'm shocked.
She seemed like such a sweet young lady. So sad. I'll always remember her from" My Precious
Child "but especially from" The Immortal Yi Soon Shin".

Tinkerbell, I don't specifically remember her from My Precious Child. I see from the cast list her character name was "Kyung-ah" but that doesn't tell me anything. Can you refresh my memory at all?

I join with all in expressing sadness at learning of this beautiful young woman's death. We don't really know these people, but for a brief moment in time they become part of our lives and we come to care about them when we hear something so very personal.

Kyung-ah from MPC was played by Kim Young- Im.
I remember recognizing her right away on IYSS.
She was the birth mother of the baby that Jihae and Jaemin adopted. She came back and the family thought she was stalking and trying to take the baby, but she just wanted to see the child. She was very upset about having to give the baby up but knew he would be well taken care of.
