Origin of the Imjin Name
A question after reading the above web page :
The famous Battle of the Imjin River during the Korean War (1950-1593) was held in April 1951.
Was there another Battle of the Imjin, held by the U.S. army in 1952 ?
Anyway, it's interesting to note that 1952 was another Imjin year while the medieval Imjin War broke out in 1592, i.e. in the Imjin year. In addition, there was another Battle of the Imjin River (May 1592) during the Imjin War !
The next Imjin years are in 2012 and 2072.
I really hope peaceful Imjin years in future.
