BO I am temporarily unable to comply with your request at this time but, on the other hand, in 1926 Ira Gershwin wrote this: Do, do, do What you've done, done, done Before... Baby. Do, do, do What I do, do, do Adore... Baby. Let's try again, Sigh again, Fly again to heaven. Baby, see It's A B C - I love you and you love me. I know, know, know What a beau, beau, beau Should do... Baby; So don't, don't, don't Say it won't, won't, won't Come true... Baby. My heart begins to hum - Dum de dum de dum-dum-dum, So do, do, do What you've done, done, done Before. Du

So as not to make things worse Here's two dont's and don'ts for verse Alliteration can be overdone And recurrence can destroy all fun For readers who agree to read These jots for which there is no need.

한산섬 달발근 밤에 수루에 혼자 안자 큰 칼 엽헤 차고 깁흔 시름 하는 적에 어디서 일성호가는 남의 애를 끈나니
On this moonlight night on Hansan Isle, I sit alone in the watch tower. Great sword worn on the side, I feel weighed down by worries. From somewhere the sad note of a pipe rends my heart.

Oh, Moreshige, that is lovely. Thanks for bringing it for us.
As for Du--as my mother would say, that's so ro-MAAAAAAHN-tic! ;D I don't think I've seen that particular Gershwin before, which is odd, since that's what I do. Sing that junk.

Bo The song Do Do Do is from the show "Oh Kay!" of 1926 which starred Gertrude Lawrence, the same Britisher who originated the role of Anna in "The King and I" in 1951. Someone To Watch Over Me was the big hit song from "Oh Kay!" As is usually the case with Broadway songs there is a verse and additional lyrics for Do Do Do but this is the most frequently sung lyric section for this underecorded song. I have a low key ballad treatment of the song by Mel Torme (from the late 50's) on one of his CD compilations but I believe even that track remained unreleased until the CD was put out .

No, Nomar is not Ernie Banks Who first among Cubs' shortstops ranks And would have played two games a day* Weather permitting, as they say.
