I really don't know how SH can actually say he's happy. I mean in ep. 14 when they are talking about wedding preparations, it's so obvious that she's just doing it because of how scared she was he'd die. She was just like "Do whatever you want." She kind of reminds me of those grooms who only expect to put on the tux and be out the door, and SH is the bride dealing w/all the preparations.
All the scenes with both of them Yujin's answer is always , "I don't know do whatever you want, what answer makes you happy"

Oh, I heard that line as spoken in frustration and resignation, almost in a passive-aggressive way. I liked it when she said it, because to me it was like, "You know my soul is dying and I'm only doing this for you. I've already given up everything and you're still jealous, so just tell me what you want me to say, ok?" If he's satisfied with her just going dully through the motions, then he deserves the empty feeling he gets from it.

Exactly. I hope that he does notice that she is only going through the motions though. I'm not sure if he will (or if he'll care).
My Will said that she should start having an affair with Minhyung (this came up when they met at the cafe) and if Sanghyuk objected, to just tell him flat out that she was in love with Minhyung and was only marrying him because he wished. Sure, he could divorce her for infidelity, but she'd be free and that's what she wants, right? I agree, except having an affair is cowardly when she should just dump Sanghyuk and let him pretend to kill himself until he realizes that he's too much of a coward and starts eating again.

Sure, he could divorce her for infidelity, but she'd be free and that's what she wants, right? Sanghyuk wouldn't divorce her. He's to obsessed with her. It would be like letting her get her way, and I don't think he would allow it. He'd rather suffer knowing that she doesn't love him/cheating on him, then to let Minhyung have her. Besides he doesn't care why or how Yujin is with him, as long as she's there.

Totally agree with you, Alexa. BTW where'd he go after he saw them at the cafe? This will probably be on tonight, but I was expecting him to go inside the cafe and throw his tantrum. Unless he's just observing them from far away which is way creepy.

That is creepy. He might try to ambush Minhyung later, but maybe not because he might be worried that Minhyung is going to tell Yujin he's really Joonsang (Sanghyuk knows he is, right, because of when Minhyung asked him if Sanghyuk didn't hit him because it was wrong).

And because of the mom. He heard when his father was asking about Kang Joonsang.

Posted by: galacticchick Posted on: Today at 11:05:37 ...... She was just like "Do whatever you want."
.......All the scenes with both of them Yujin's answer is always , "I don't know do whatever you want, what answer makes you happy"
I think she is finally speaking her thoughts. Even when she shouted in the restaurant - that was because of pressure from both sides. And before...she would just nod and smile in silent agreement.
When she was younger in school, she was a little sprite of the thing, free with her thoughts and happy with life. To lose someone in death changes a person - but even more so for the young because it is so unexpected and is such a loss of potential. Such grieving can remain for a long time.
And even so - though she attempted to resist the situation, Min-hyung was able to re-ignite that part of her. Joonsang was drawn to her because of her love of life (remember when he peeked in on her at the school radio room and she was wonderfully uninhibited, singing and dancing to the music?).
To lose yourself twice in life is just unthinkable. I hope her inner sense of self-preservation can make her more vocal to those around her. Someone has to touch the hearts of the parents so that she doesn't have to experience the heartbreak they had to endure.
.....and don't get me started on Sanghyuk...grrr....never ever having to work for his lady-love....grrr....always feeling that their fate was a "sure thing"...grrr.....somebody stop me!!!

Sang-hyuk's dad rocks! Here is a man who cares more for the truth and the happiness of others than his own comfortable position. Can you believe tonights episode? The man comes to seek out Joon, perhaps to tell him that he is his dad!!! Thank God he had the guts to get the blood test. I love this guy!!!!

oh man! I hosted my dinner party tonite.... and I just finished watching tonite's taped episode #24... and Bungalowdweller you are so on! "Sang-hyuk's dad rocks!" I love that dad too... comfortable position be damned! With just a little less than 2 hours left to this wonderful Winter Sonata, let's hope that blood test shakes everyone up. Having to wait till Friday is maddening... but worth the wait.
