Hello everyone! I'm the new person on the block. While I don't visit these forums that often, I was hoping someone here might be able to help me. I've spent the last several days trying to find info on a 2003 KBS show called Sarang-ui bolmo. My Korean is novice at best (nonexistant at worse) but I think it means something like "Love's Hostage". It doesn't appear to be in KBS' webpages (although I found a staff member who was credited for it). I've done Google and Yahoo.co.kr searches using the hangeul, and haven't found anything for it. I'm really interested in finding out more information on the show because I read that Lee Han Garl (who plays Nalbal in The Immortal Lee Soon Shin) is the romantic lead. If that's true, it's his first actual starring role, and I'd love to see it! Especially since I've already seen all his movies. (Yes, I'm a big fan. Probably obsessively so.) Has anyone maybe seen it? I guess it wasn't a popular show, so I shouldn't hold my breath and hope it's on DVD, but I'd appreciate any help or info! Thank you!

Yes, I'm answering my own query. But just in case anyone else stumbles upon this post and would like to know, I've dug deeper online, stuttered through reading Korean, and found out it's not a series of itself. It's an episode of a KBS series called A Wedding Story where the entire show is nothing but romantic shorts. So Lee Han Garl is the romantic lead only in episode 48, which is called "Love's Hostage".
And unfortunately, I still can't find anywhere to buy it.

Wow, Heather, that's great. It's not often that you get to stump the entire board like that. I'd give you a prize, but I don't have an arbequess in my possession at the moment... Bo

Oh, darn... That's okay. I'm sure there will come a time where I can stump the board members again. I have such random, rare and quirky interests that I usually take to the extreme and research like crazy. I'm an oddball outta the mainstream. But hey, at least I'm an intriguing dinner guest! Thanks!
