This drama replaced Phoenix? Is it coming out in November here (Chicago) or in Korea? I think I recognize the guy from some pictures someone posted and I said he looks like a wax figure.

you know, they really should make better names. maybe it's ok in korean, but in english, well, the name is just plain silly. well, i doubt we'll get this subtitled here in new york. i guess i'll just stick with the historical shows. {on a side note, i will go on a rampage if immortal yi sun shin isn't subtitled in ny}

He was adopted by people in Australia, but abandoned there? It sounds like that "Ireland" show. Korean scriptwriters seem to have a bad opinion of people who adopt Korean children to other countries.
I'm probably never going to get to see either one, anyway. Drat.

Korean scriptwriters seem to have a bad opinion of people who adopt Korean children to other countries. Bo You know, I never thought of it that way. Then again, his mom originally abandoned him. I guess they're trying to tell/show you that no one loved or wanted him. So he's grown up not knowing what love is. So Ji Sup seems to get all the sad guy roles.

... So Ji Sup seems to get all the sad guy roles. He has a sad-looking face, something about the eyes. Rather like the guy who plays Ray's older brother on "Everybody Loves Raymond" don't you think? (Not that he looks like him, but they both seem to have an "emotionally depressed" face structure.) Bo

To "The Bo" It's different from "Ireland" . In "Ireland", "Jung-A" was adopted by an Irish Family. In order to protect her, her foster parents took her to Ireland. They were good people. Since her brother was an IRA Member, her foster parents and brother were killed in front of her. The Killers couldn't notify that she was the family member too. At that time, she passed by with her face avert ed just for save her own life. It became a big trauma. The point is, in "Ireland" show, her foster parents were very generous people and they loved her very much.
Sorry for my english writing, i'm not good at writing english.

Plus, I figure that Korean scriptwriters want to express their sadness, sorrow and loneliness those who were adopted by people in other countries. My point is "Children who adopted by people in other countries" means "They are abandoned by their very own parents and country first" also. He was adopted by people in Australia, but abandoned there? It sounds like that "Ireland" show. Korean scriptwriters seem to have a bad opinion of people who adopt Korean children to other countries. I'm probably never going to get to see either one, anyway. Drat. Bo

This drama ended this week in Korea. I watched the final 2 episodes Tuesday night. I think this is the best drama of 2004. It had a little bit of everything. This drama had some strong content, it was intense, sad, happy, touching, etc. It was well written and great performances by the cast. I had been looking forward to this drama from the moment I heard about it. I thought it would be good but it far surpassed my expectations.
Note: I don't go into more detail because there's a chance this drama might be given here in Chicago. If you also watched it, I ask that you please take that into account before revealing too much about the drama.
