Here’s what I remember:
Jinkook stops the car and Hesoo asks him what’s the matter. He says he doesn’t want to go home, so she asks if he wants to go over to her parent’s house. At Hesoo’s parents we see Eunsoo eating noodles w/his son.
Jinkook asks if he can eat noodles too. The mom comes in shortly and is appalled that her son in law is eating noodles. So she says she will make something quickly, he declines saying he likes noodles. She gives him some cucumber kimchi to taste, he says it tastes good but would taste better with rice. Hesoo says they have some cold rice. The mom nearly faints at this suggestion and says she will boil some, Hesoo insists it’s fine and gives it to him. We never found out who’s house Hesoo’s mom was in front of.
Jaemin and Jihae have another close call with his mom. They are wondering where she is going and notice that she must have dropped something to someone since she no longer has the shopping bag she had before.
The lady that insisted Ji-hae’s was Sungae’s daughter goes to visit her at the office. She asks how her daughter is and ends up telling her about Jihae’s whereabouts. Sungae goes over there and is observing her and JM, seeing if they are okay or not. She follows them all the way to their apartment but doesn’t confront them. She thinks to herself that its fine, as long as they are happy. She goes to the bar where her husband can usually be found and is waiting for him. Hubby walks in and doesn’t notice her. She hears how he sweet talks to the hostess and complains about his boring wife. She turns around after a while and he nearly poops in his pants and runs out of the bar screaming.
Somewhere in there Hesoo’s in-laws thank her for bringing in the special education origami teacher. Last scene is Jinkook walking in unannounced, with Hesoo, into Evil Stepmom’s office demanding to know why she’s being so nice.

I think that HS's mom was in front of JK's house - I thought I recognized the stonework in front of their driveway. And b/c of the flashback that they played after she went home (and her mutterings) it seems to me that she went into the house (I think ESM and GD were still there at the time) and maybe was insulted. I don't know - I really want to find out.

Good job, GC. Two things I would add-- 1.Maybe I'm delusional, but I'm certain it was the Jin-kook house. I got the feeling she marched over there to see for herself the situation her daughter is living in. What I don't know is what happened there; I get the feeling that scene was cut out, because she obviously was disturbed afterward and was muttering to herself something to the effect that Hee-soo made her bed and now has to lie in it. (very loose here)
2. I want to emphasize, because it makes me happy to see, that Jin-kook was having a ball at Hee-soo's house. It is always touching to me to see how he relaxes and blooms when he's with her family. He obviously greatly missed his mother's care after she died and the ESM arrived on the scene to cut him down and starve him emotionally. When HS's mom was fussing over him and saying her son-in-law deserved better, he was smiling and his eyes were dancing.

woohoo thanks so much. you guys are the greatest. i meant to record the repeat this morning but i totally forgot about it... this was the only episode i've missed since i started MPC . awww i totally wanted to jinkook happpy with his 'dancing eyes' hehe. he likes her family so much. remember when he told hee-soo that he liked her family much more than he liked her?? i guess hee-soo's entire family makes up for the lack of familial love due to his mother's death and his father's marriage to ESM. i wonder what happened to hee-soo's mother when she went to where im assuming to be jinkook's house. and i dont understand one thing. why did jin-soo tell eun-soo to get out when he was talking to hee-soo in the kitchen? lol was he jealous? for himself or for jinkoook? hehe i also wonder what sung-ae's reaction is going to be when minsup is confronted by her haha. serves him right for flirting with the hostess so much and badmouthing his wife. i'm also wondering why jin-soo's parents never thought of getting him a teacher of some sort even if it may not be an origami teacher. are they afraid of shaming the family name? embarrassed or what? because that was the impression that i got sometimes when ESM and dad were talking to hee-sooooo about something but i can't remember what. also what happened to jaemin's mother? from the previews on the previous episode i got the impression that there was something wrong with her. maybe her eyes?

It happened at the end of the episode. She and hubby were eating fruit--and by the way, how many fruit-eating scenes have we all seen by now? --and she was doing something and said, "Honey, there's something wrong with my eyes." Then he told her she was presbyopic (far-sighted, which happens to most people as they age, which is why they need bifocals) (this episode was evidently subtitled by another Korean station and had some strange word choices) and couldn't expect to stay young forever. Who knows if it will turn into something or was just one of those red herrings they throw in.

Presbyopia occurs in almost everybody about age 47-50. The lens of the eye becomes less flexible, so it's harder to focus close, especially in dim light. I got contact lenses years ago out of vanity, and now feel faintly ridiculous that I have to put on glasses to read, even with the contacts in. Son-ja is 50 years old Never mind how old I am

Soju, do you know you can get bifocal contact lenses? They weight them so that the farsighted-correction part always lies at the bottom. At least that's what my mom says she has. She only has one, though, because she's not myopic as well.
