You must have a very nice boss. Me, I'd probably wander off to the "water cooler" for about 40 minutes and catch the episode. Well, yeah, but also, I'm a very difficult person to say "No" to (never guessed, didja). Good thing I'm reasonable about what I ask for. Bo

By the way, gal-ck, last night (Tuesday), I tuned in at about 6:20 and MPC was just starting. Usually, I tune in at 6:25 and watch the last 10 minutes, so I know it must start a lot earlier normally. I did not see what preceded it, so I don't know why this happened.

You probably presented her/him with a fifty-page report on why he/she should let you do this. I know about the 6:20 start time! I started the recording at 6:00 and noticed it didn't start till quite late. What I didn't pay attention to was what time I stopped recording. But it seemed like they cut a big chunk of the ep. off. I.E. when did Ji-eun and Jae-min make up?

Arrgggh! This messing around with the airtimes is driving me crazy. I always tape, never watch "live," and so I've been missing either the first 10 minutes or the last 10 minutes. I set my VCR timer for 5:55-6:40--you'd think that would be enough for what is supposedly a 1/2-hour show scheduled to start at 6:00! Did anyone notice that the programming schedules at the KBC28 tent last weekend looked even older than the ones they had last year? HEY, Channel 28, let's get organized here!

Since the skipped ep. 19 this morning, it seems that both will be on ep. 20 today. It also looks as if MPC will be on time this evening.

Well, it was episode 20 this evening. Which started a minute before 6, and just ran to 6:36.

So I missed a part of ep 19. My recording stopped before the ep was over, but I did catch the ending. Then, this morning was a "Pre-peat" of tonight's showing So in ep 19 (Thurs. eve.), what happened betwen the time Step-mom told Mr. Park to hire a young woman, and they showed up at the restaurant? I take it Step-mom called Hee-soo? Gee, I finally start getting all the characters sorted out, and KBC confuses me all over again

So in ep 19 (Thurs. eve.), what happened betwen the time Step-mom told Mr. Park to hire a young woman, and they showed up at the restaurant? I take it Step-mom called Hee-soo? Okay, stepmom met the young woman at a restaurant, who told Mom she (fakegirl) was not going to tell her (Mom) any personal information about herself. (That seemed portentious to me.) Mom told fakegirl to be rich and independent, and that she'd only have to do a short job. We saw no other details. Mom told Golf Dad she met a simultaneous translator whose father was a rich, big deal overseas and whose brother was a researcher at Harvard. She said they had to meet on Saturday at a restaurant; Golf Dad said what about the girl Jin-kook is dating, don't we have to meet her; Stepmom said, forget about her, she's not important, we have to take this opportunity while we can. On the day, Jin-kook said he'd drive himself over; which pissed off Dad who thought he'd run away, but Stepmom said just let him. Stepmom called Hee-soo and told her to show up, but we did not hear what she was supposed to do. The family sits at the (curiously empty) restaurant, and in comes fakegirl. Jin-kook gives one of his, "What did I expect?" looks. While they are dining, we do not hear much conversation between them except to learn fakegirl lives in Korea by herself. Hee-soo shows up and stepmom says, "I think you have the wrong table," and, "Who are you?" Hee-soo says, "He's the man I'm going to marry." Fakegirl leaves in a huff, dad goes running after, Jin-kook smirks. (But you knew that part.) In other words, we didn't see much of what happened between stepmom and fakegirl. I sometimes feel I'm getting the staccato version of conversations on this show, that I have to put the stuff together for myself. But I still like it. Bo

And am I the only one who sees a resemblance between the actor playing fakegirl and the one who played Choi Keum-young on DJG?

Gee Bo--Glad you got the logistics of taping worked out, but my son (7 years old) is really disappointed that we can't get bunkbeds so you can move in! Cheers
