...I didn't see any spoilers, I just read the post of the summary that Buddhacat posted: ( Clears Throat) and I quote......... So very sorry, mz, for slurring your intent! I'll leave in your explanation because it's not a spoiler but I'm not going to read it until much, much later in the series, for the same reason I did not read buddhacat's original post--because I like to be completely surprised. Like, whacked in the knee surprised (sorry, Nancy Kerrigan). I beg your immeasurable grace and pardon. Bo

I'm sorry, creidesca, but your question is a spoiler in this board. We are only on episode 5. Please look at the spoiler policy posted at the top of this board. Bo that's strange...so you guys were only on ep 5? The koreanwiz.org site listed that your station started airing this series the Friday before the SoCal version, which aired the following Monday. Either koreanwiz.org was incorrect, or your station doesn't air it 5days/wk? Anyways, I'm sorry. I didn't know that SoCal was ahead, since I had looked at koreanwiz's information provided in the news section, and it stated your station aired it July 2 (SoCal began airing July 5).

The first episode of My Precious Child aired on Tuesday, July 20 here in Chicago. Also, KBC had trouble last Friday, so no dramas were aired that day, meaning we're only on episode 4.

I was looking at the boards last night before I went to bed, and I thought I was on the board for Phoenix, where I am the hardball moderator who told everyone she'd just delete spoilers. I had no business completely cutting your spoiler, creidesca, because I don't know what galacticchick's policy is here. (You probably were puzzled by my addled reference to a spoiler policy that is not there...) However, as a regular reader, I can tell you this. Almost all of the regular posters to this board do not like spoilers, so they probably would have swarmed and stung you, anyway. I may have saved your life, so to speak... Anyway, maybe galacticchick can post her attitude toward spoilers and then everyone can know how to handle theirs. Man, I need more sleep. Bo

To Bo and BobYourBob.....I hope for all of our sakes that you are able to receive Channel 28 if you move to Hyde Park. We fellow fan friends of yours need you here!!! We're keeping our fingers crossed that the Hancock signal will be strong enough to reach you at your new home.

I hope so, too, because I don't know what I'll do otherwise. I hardly watch anything else any more, this is my TV entertainment (besides movies, of course). Bo PS - But I DO have a life. That sounded so lame. Just sitting in the living room, crying over Korean soap operas. Not me! No, really!

At last year's Korea Fest, I picked up a brochure for ch28. They had a map of the coverage pattern, and it showed it as being strongest to the Northewest and Southeast, less so to the West, and quite weak over Lake Michigan (so all you yachters are out of luck ;D)

Thanks, I think that I'll be fine. Even so, I can always move in with buddhacat. Bo

I used to live in Hyde Park, in the Twin Towers right next to Regent's Park. Since I was in a highrise, I would have thought I'd have signal but I didn't - to the point where I didn't even know that Ch. 28 was a possible channel (since it's not listed in the guides and since it was grey snow). I've since moved to Little Italy and the picture is sometimes fuzzy but at other times it's crystal clear.
Maybe you have a better antenna than I do though (hopefully).

The place we are thinking of moving to is Regency Towers. Can you tell me which direction (North, South, etc) way your apartment faced? I think that might have an effect. Now I'm getting depressed. See Bo--I go out of town on vacation--(battled the possibility of two hurricanes--Bonnie and Charley from the beach place we rented in the Panhandle of Florida, plus had Geo Bush ruin one day because they closed our only access road while he visited one of the beach towns)--and I see you might have to move in with us after all!!!! <V V B G> I'm telling you, the brown line rocks! and the take out food is superb, not to mention, Ch 28 is only a few blocks away. Or we may have to develop some elaborate taping and delivery service for Ms. Bo...... Cheers (and wishes for good reception!!!) P.S.--It was pretty funny that we wre the only beach house with the Jang Geum sound track blasting and my son asking for track 8.

BmB and I have come up with a solution, however--my office is in the loop, facing north, so I should be able to set up a little VCR/tv set to tape stuff, then watch it at home. There's a guy here with a TV set for me to test my theory, but I can't get the thing to power up (I think it's unplugged but there are too many cords to tell), so I'll know shortly whether that'll work. My boss won't care, as long as I don't actually WATCH the things here. Bo
