Sorry in advance if someone's already mentioned this...
Korea seems to have a short statute of limitations on murder. I know in the US there is none. No matter how long ago the crime, you can still be procecuted for murder. Ji-eun's dad was killed only 10 years ago and the law couldn't touch Mr. Seo. The same thing happened in "Beautiful Days".

I thought that was weird too. It seems like one of those crimes that should always be able to be prosecuted.
She should be able to prosecute him in civil court, though. Or maybe prosecute him for illegally stealing the company from her and the directors.

Wouldn't it be ironic if she was able to prosecute him for stealing her money, but not her father's life? Gosh. What's the relative seriousness, here.

Well, of course the company is more serious. Or at least Seo Sr. seemed to think so, the buttface.
It looks like they've dropped that entire storyline, though. That's too bad; I think it would be kind of neat to see a Korean courtroom drama!
