that in the drama, jang geum's daughter was also one of the little girls among them when jang geum was young. that means, she acted in two roles. i think its a big no-no coz for observant people, this kinda mistake will be easily spotted. moreover that girl appeared quite often in the earlier scenes. i guess they must have thought she appeared in the beginning and at the end, no one would notice. but since i watched it the 2nd time, i did.
did anyone spot this as well?

Kaylin, I noticed that too. They ran out of kids. They should have recycled one of the palace maids that usually sits at the back so that audience do not notice. They unfortunately picked the one that sits in the front. I thought it was funny though. It give glimpse into the making of djg and the dilemas that the producers had faced.

That doesn't bother me much, it's a common enough thing in any theater production where there's a large cast. Most people probably didn't notice, and how were they to know there'd be fanatics (like us) who'd watch it over and over (LOL). And after all, she was a good player--why not pay her a little extra for a little extra work? But fc has a good idea--should have put her in the back.
However, I think that the only reason they used her in the final episodes was because they found her in the earlier episodes. That is, they cast Jang-geum's daughter much later in the proceedings, and when they were looking for someone, they said, "Hey, remember that cute girl who played one of the palace maids in the earlier eps? Let's use her!" This is common, too.

Question regarding repeat actors. In the earlier episode, there was a blind man who sells fish. Lady Han always used to buy fish from the blind man. This was during the time when JG lost her taste buds.
In the later episode, there was a merchant who sells duck. Aren't the blind man and the duck seller a SAME guy? Does anyone know. -FC

I don't think that they are the same people. But the duck seller does come up again.. I don't remember when though...
