There you have it lifan!...our Korean friend "Visitor" has come to the rescue..check out the software and give us some feedback. Thanks "Visitor" I did not the existence of this product as I am only familiar with mainstream software. How is this product being promoted? ukfan Hi, UKfan. I almost forgot to thank you for the kind instructions about downloading flash files. Must have been quite a labour. It's a great help to me. There are so many software companies in Korea competing each other to attract more users. It's almost like a warfare. Some of these companies take the strategy of providing their softwares for free, but only for home users. These private users are like beta-testers and act as a kind of promoters of a certain product if it's any good. They have to pay for it in offices or any other commercial uses. That's how it works. This ALShow is one of the most popular movie players here in Korea right now. So, You don't have to worry about spywares or some dubious thingy crawling into your PC. By the way, how did you know that I'm "that" visitor? ;D I mean, so many visitors come and go here, heheh..... Actually, I did register to this site a while ago, but forgot the password. Maybe I have to register again with more fancy ;D nickname than visitor. Thanks again, UKfan. You always amaze me with that passion for DJG.

Ah! Mr/Miss Visitor..of course I know it was you! I mean there could only be one "Visitor" the Visitor...you! Seriously, it was a guess based on the subjects you are interested in and of course how willing you are to help ;D Yes, I will download the ALShow software and give it a go. Also, I think it will be highly beneficial for members to have this software as there are several board members who like to use their creative brain. Are there any other software you could recommend. Software for graphic design, flash animation, 2D animation, audio/video etc. Thanks again ukfan Yes, I like K-dramas but especially DJG, more of the period dramas than contemporary dramas.

Thanks THE visitor and UKfan for answering my question . Not knowing anything about the software company was what I was most concerned about. I will have to check it all out next week and will let you know how it goes.

Hi there!
Firstly. .avi video files is a common video file format and therefore, all video players such as Windows media player, RealPlayer, QuickTime Player and every one of the other video media players available will play .avi files...period!
If non of these player play your .avi file, the chance is the file has been corrupted.
Advice: Delete file and get another copy.
Hope that helps

Thanks THE visitor and UKfan for answering my question . Not knowing anything about the software company was what I was most concerned about. I will have to check it all out next week and will let you know how it goes. Hi Lifan Just to let you know that I have installed AL Show Media player on 2 of my PCs and it works fine and it does do what it has advertised and does it very well....and it is free! The software which I used and recommended costs about $49 approx. so the choice is yours. ukfan

Are there any other software you could recommend. Software for graphic design, flash animation, 2D animation, audio/video etc. Wow... now that's too much for me. I thought you have this graphic design related job. I do digital paintings from time to time with Corel Painter/Photoshop/Artrage etc., but just an amateur myself. You know better than me. ;D I'm glad to hear that you like that ALShow. I also use ALSong which is great for listening music, but this thing has no English version yet. BTW, want to see my music video? I've learned how to use Movie Maker thanks to you, UKfan. ;D All pictures in that clip were captured with ALShow. It's not about DJG but hope you enjoy it. www.youtube.com/watch?v=OUc89rLXMmU

has anyone downloaded the ALsee (recommended by visitor)? i can't seem to edit text/ etc. at all? I haven't yet. it is primarily for viewing graphics/pictures and I don't know how extensive the editing features is...but worth checking out since it is free! ukfan

let me know once you've downloaded it. the features are very simple to use ... the only thing is where's my enter key? if i can only preview it, then it will not serve the function i need.
