Notice the subtitles outlined in red and you can read them all the time (almost))?

Yeah! They look great. The previous week I had an especially difficult time reading the subtitles because alot of characters were wearing white. Now it's a breeze.

I saw red outlines early in last night's, which then changed to plain white.

Is it possible they are using the red outlines for when the screen is mostly white, but going back to regular white when the screen is mostly dark? That might explain the switching.
