That nasty Young-ro running up to Lady Choi and exulting in the Queen's miscarriage--uck. (I only just watched episode 35). What is it the Chois have against the king having an heir, anyway? Why can't they leave this poor woman alone? It was almost implied that they were using some sort of witchcraft on her. The scene where Young-ro spoke to Lady Choi was especially shocking immediately after Lady Choi's apparent deep concern over the Queen's health. Maybe episode 36 will provide me some explanation (please don't tell me--I'm avoiding reading the "did I miss something" post until I see it). But in the meantime--wouldn't ya'all like to wipe that nasty smirk off of Young-ro's face? (I know you would!) And when she ran into Jang-geum in the kitchen area, how she was talking to an anonymous physician lady--she's such a shrew. No manners at all. Not an ounce of noblesse oblige on the girl's scrawny bones.

Yeah I was wondering that too. Haven't seen TGJ in a while but I was able to catch Fri.'s episode. Is Lady Choi going to want to usurp the Queen's place now?
TheBo, the "what did I miss" thread isn't about episode 36, it's Soju's question to what happened in the chopped up episode 35. He/she (sorry, Soju, don't know if your male or female) was stating that someone did a horrible editing job that resulting in people viewing only about a third of the episode.

Didn't JG's mother catch Lady Choi putting something in the then Queen's food? It seems that the Chois are attempting to keep whomever is King from having an heir; I suppose so that the Oh clan can then step into the resulting power vacuum.

Yeppers!!! acording to Lady Han thats why they had to get rid of JG mom , Lady Han saved her and then JG's mom went into hiding , but when the Choi's found out she was still alive they went after her and killed her with an arrow , JG fed her mother for the last time the berry dish she made for the King @ the competition , she calls that her best dish, thats as best as I remember... Maggie ; ;D
