I had misgivings about Saturday night's show, when there was a none too subtle edit near the beginning. But before the last commercial, the Queen was still ailing. After the commercial, we hear talk of how it will be harder to get rid of JG now, and then, when she visits her medicine teacher, we found out that she cured the Queen. I can't imagine that would be glossed over like that in the complete episode.
Last night's ep ran for less than 45 minutes, if the commercials are excluded. Once, we saw an ep that ran for over an hour, so let's say that was an uncut episode. That means that Saturday's airing had over a quarter, and nearly a third, of it cut out. I had to watch the last portion two or three times to figure out what was going on.
I hope that the Tuesday AM airing will be more complete. The weekend PM shows are so chopped up, there's almost no point in watching them.

I think one more scene was also cut from last night. Guess we we have to watch on Monday and tuesday to see what happens . birb

I'm not exactly sure what was edited...but I miss the show quite often because I'm away at my university, if someone would be so kind as to fill me in what happened. all I know is that some how lady choi's niece is head kitchen lady now..and I have no clue how that happened(another big edit)

Geum-young became head kitchen lady because her aunt got promoted. I can't remember exactly the title but the woman who had that position used to be the taster lady in the beginning when lady choi was just a kitchen maid. So I think it was the head kitchen lady's boss. The reason Lady Choi got promoted was because (and I am assuming they schemed and framed her) she was holding private parties and her and her underlings were either kicked out of the palace or executed. And since the position was vacant I am sure lady choi and her uncle pointed out that she could take that position and of course since geum young is probably too young for her position probably came up with some excuse to make her head kitchen lady.

Yes, on Monday, they showed a scene where Lady Min explains to JG that, right after she and Lady Han left, the old head lady was driven out by the treacherous Lady Choi, who got Keum-young made highest kitchen lady when Lady C was made head lady (or Big Head Lady, as I like to call the position). An interesting sidebar was that not only did they get rid of the previous head lady's followers, they got rid of anyone who would be older than Keum-young ("of course"). That means all those ladies who sided with Lady Choi against Lady Han got payback, finally, because they'd certainly be older than Keum-young.
Hah-hah.
